serious question, no :troll:

What are your thoughts on the creation of the universe/life?

Obviously no one has the right answer, but whats your take?

Myself, I wouldn't call myself religious in that I don't but into any organized religion, but I can't say that I don't believe in some sort of higher power that's responsible for our existence :manny:

edit: :pachaha: @ :troll: I was expecting the OG troll face

i'm too ignorant to answer the question, just as all human beings are on this planet

simply, we dont know

O, impossible to fathom. If the big bang theory is true and there is a singular point for the existence of our universe, what is beyond that, in the dark void of nothingness, another universe? Ancient demonic beasts? Heaven? A pit that falls into a wormhole of universe warping energies that will slice the nucleus of your atoms into 1 billionth pieces?

How many universes have to find before you realize you need the power of God to traverse this realm and obtain the answers you require. We in our current form will never know and the capabilities to accomplish these feats are beyond the life of the planet earth. Do you need to die to find the answers? We dont even know whats in our galaxy, our galaxy aggin, let alone the universe that has billions of galaxies. Our intelligence is so feeble. Wow.

How long have human beings been civilized and gaining scientific knowledge?

You dont know what kind of progress we'll attain even in the next hundred years, if we actually survive as a species.

I think of everything as a natural process i.e. theoretically we could explain everything that happens in the universe by mathematics and science.

But when you think about it there will always be the question "But where did that come from?"

just like with God though, religious folks say "The universe is too complex, God must've made it" but then, who made god or where did he come from? etc.

But at the end of the day, I don't know, and I'm fine with that. I definitely don't believe in any "being" that made the universe or us, that just seems to be the most absurd conclusion you could ever possibly draw.

a chain of miraculous events happened and now we're here. :manny:

mir·a·cle/ˈmirikəl/
Noun:

A surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is considered to be divine.

:troll:

and to all the rest...I get it. We don't know, and there's absolutely no way of knowing. Regardless, its still possible to throw some ideas around.

The big bang is pretty much scientific FACT. The universe is expanding at an increasing rate every second, so if you hit "rewind" on the tape of the universe, it would start off as an infinitely small point

I know that but he said whatever is prevalent now a days :skip:

:heh: I see what you're saying, I just see a lot of people who have no clue about the big bang theory but then tell me that it sounds ridiculous (this happens more in real life than on here, surprisingly)

:shaq2: what's there dynamite in space nikka?
:heh:

The questions regarding the big bang that are unanswered are what caused the initial expansion to begin with and where the "infinitely hot infinitely small" substance came from (and, what is it made of exactly?) in the beginning that eventually became the entire universe (see my where did that come from? comment in my other post)

there are tons of theories on how Universes are created but no consensus or concrete evidence so far

i look at it like, religious people are content to believe that god was always just there, end of discussion. so why cant i just say that the universe was always just here? whats the difference?

heres a question for those who believe in creation: what the fukk are Neanderthals?
