Couldn't help yourself huh? :francis:

I simply told the truth, I never tried to change your opinion or get anyone to accept my view.
I see you really just wanted to have the last word though, so there, go ahead and reply after me and have it.

This has been known for years. My parents watched Living Single instead of Friends so I never peeped this until later on.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I'm saying Living Single was not an original concept, a show about friends who interact with each other.
Its really no different than Seinfield, 3s company, Martin, Murphy Brown, and etc. IMHO. Ensemble tv shows like Taxi, except centered around apartments instead of jobs.
LIVING single.... as in groups of SINGLE friends, living together, IN THE SAME APT BUILDING

you have not named a single show that's done that besides LS and Friends... every other show, the entire cast didn't live in the same spot

Three's company, they all lived in the same apartment and one of them had to pretend to be gay to stay because of conservative social norms of the time.
Martin elevated one character over the rest and less players.

Splitting hairs but Friends is almost exactly Living Single just with white folks. 6 people living in the same apartment complex but not the same apartment (Living Single was 4 girls/2 guys, Friends even 3/3/ split).

Also, the producer specifically said he thought Living Single was the best thing out and then made a show just like it.

OK no one said it was original. Just the guy who made Friends specified what his influence for it was and it was Living Single.

Not denying that, just saying the concept of living single isn't special itself.

OK, like I said no one even forwarded that idea to begin with.

never said anyone did.

Jack pretended to be gay? I thought that was just a joke with people that watched the show, i don't remember him actually playing that role. He always had chicks at the crib

Yeah when the landlord Mr. Roper or Mr. Furley was around he had to act gay. But your right Jack always had chics.
