yea... we are all still waiting for the previous shows that had YOUNG, SUCCESSFUL, SINGLE, FRIENDS, LIVING TOGETHER


don't give me 5 of them things.... give me a show with all of them things... all of the main cast living together

I'm saying Living Single was not an original concept, a show about friends who interact with each other.
Its really no different than Seinfield, 3s company, Martin, Murphy Brown, and etc. IMHO. Ensemble tv shows like Taxi, except centered around apartments instead of jobs.

Cmon, it's like youre trying hard to be a contrarian. Aside from what others mentioned, even the characters were similar.

-You had the obnoxious sarcastic jerk
-The sweet ditzy chick
-The dumb masculine guy (one was a handyman, one was a a handsome actor)
-The neurotic chick whos also funny even when she not trying to be
-The cute chick in the house that's also spoiled.

The only real original character Friends had was Ross.
