Sanctions and they need safe, secure ways to transport the agriculture.

i’m honestly baffled because Ukraine isn’t some geographical nightmare with swamps like Vietnam or mountains like Afghanistan. I learned that Ukraine is mostly farmland and supplies a lot of wheat for an export.

I thought Russia would just roll thru especially with sheer manpower. I did believe that when Russia took hold of the major cities, that there will be some underground sporadic resistance for a while

There was no German government, And Soviets stayed after WW2 for decades In east Germany.

Ukraine still exist because Russia failed to beat them Into submission. Ukraine wants Crimea and to get them back across the border. They don’t gain anything by adding millions of Russian mouths to their population to feed.


edit: I was uninformed about the Russians in Koreas so I didn’t want to say anything but after a quick study. The Soviets were in Koreas for a reason. They wanted their warm winter port access and to avenge the loss of the Sino-Japanese war. You’re completely wrong.
