Even I wouldn't want to see ATL suffer like that....

Teague trade rumor? Or something different? If We Swindle The Hawks Again.....![]()
I don't think anybody's every mistaken me for an e-thug.
But you seem really, really upset about something.
Why don't you just get a little more familiar with the source material, and then join the conversation armed with facts and/or experience -- rather than making shyt up like a child with a coloring book, and then getting way way deep in your feelings?
Seems so much easier, yanno, with google at your fingertips.
You seem to have some deep-seated issues with penii and potentially your father. Phone a friend, breh. Keep that shyt to yourself.
I'm pretty much only checking in on this thread on the The Coli, now and then. Please don't ruin that with your weird fetishized hatred, poor posting, lack of analysis, and name calling.
If you decide you wanna settle it offline, name a time and a place, and I'll be sure to take pictures of you from a secure location, and clown you on the internet.
We talk about this running players into the ground.
Do we really know what the fukk that means or are we just following narratives?
Following narratives
This is just ridiculous. What job do you not get fired at if your performance is terrible and you're NOT doing what the boss wants? Which in this case was to win some ball games.
His "rotations" didn't allow players to establish any kind of rhythm before they were benched for long stretches of games or removed from the lineup altogether with no rhyme or reason. So I guess his "rotations" kinda did make them shoot like trash. His "rotations" made him leave Jose and Sasha on the floor for extended periods of time even tho they were getting cooked. I'm not sure what's hard to understand about the concept of "working" the referees. A good coach will always try to get a feel for the officiating. You don't coach basketball so maybe that's why that example made you LOL. You don't have to berate referee's to get calls. In fact that will get you the opposite. My point is that he appeared to never have anything to say. To anyone. Don't focus on just the referee statement or pretend I implied they are supposed to "listen" to him.
He shouldn't have. Gallo shoulda been starting with Calderon. Vujacic is in no other rotation in the league much less a starter.
Don't lump me in with that "Y'all". I've been critical of Phil from day 1 saying that if he insists on the squad running the triangle, he should coach it himself. I'm not feeling Rambis and I'm not feeling another puppet next season. This is not a terrible roster. It has some balance. With a real playmaker and a competent coach they'd have a better record. We lost too many close games, came up short in too many 4th quarters, and came out not ready to play too many times for Fisher not to be partially responsible. Personally I think you're on some Gloria Govan shyt when it comes to Fish and you're not thinking correctly.![]()
See I agree with this! Completely! If Fish was doing a half competent job I'd be calling BS all day on his firing. I gave him a pass last season. But he had an NBA roster this year. He didn't know what to do with it. If he was white I'da still been calling for his head.
He should want to leave, that's the point. I still feel like we can fool people into giving us a good deal for him.How hard is it for people to understand that Melo has a NTC, he's NOT going anywhere unless he wants too, and he doesn't. Give the trade Melo talk a rest
Really? According to Zema we are highly competitive and need Derek back to bring a championship.
When I look at what our roster, cap space and assets looked like the day he signed up...and I look at where our roster, cap space and assets are now...I'd give Phil a solid B grade.
Thibs isn't my example of premature canning; he's an example of NBA politics getting coaches fired (think Kidd and the Brooklyn drama). Thibs had 5 seasons and won less than 50 games one time and they probably overachieved for most of those seasons under him and he still managed to get dropped for Hoiberg who has Chicago on pace to be pretty much in the same spot (but he has a better roster imo).
The premature firings though have been happening for a while too though. Karl and Blatt are both guys I don't like as coaches, but they one is on the hot seat and the other is out because of player politics. Hornacek is a guy I thought did pretty well, but he had 0 PG's due to injuries and he's out a job. Lionel Hollins is another coach I think does a solid job and got jerked prematurely. This ish is happening all over the place.
This is related to the rant but separate. I have no solid proof on this ish, but I think that coaches and players having the same agents is playing into this. Star players have their agents linking them with coaches all over the place. Luke Walton is repped by the same crew that reps Westbrook...he'd have been sought after for that reason even without the interim coach run he just had imo.
Not really. He shytted all over Carmelo
And people on here don't want to trade him if we can get anything decent in return![]()
You responded without answering my questions (example: what stopped Phil from intervening if Fish didn't do what he wanted? Answer is nothing because what he wanted was to force the Triangle on a roster that doesn't fit it). You didn't respond to my statements about people not making shots and not defending. Didn't respond to my statement that refs aren't gonna listen to him. If they don't listen when 'Melo puts them on blast, they won't listen when Fish does it. And you're lying on him when you say he says "nothing" to refs. He's been thrown out of games for arguing calls.
Gallo and Grant were "getting cooked" right along with Sasha and Jose. And no, he shouldn't have started Gallo because that would've severely weakened the bench, especially with D-Will shooting the way he was (and he's shooting like trash again).
It's a good roster, just not for the offense Phil insists on running. Every coach is partially responsible for some losses. Doesn't mean they should lose their job. Kerr's team doesn't even play defense. They just outscore teams. NY was accused of that in their best season in 15 years (2012-2013 season). Yet, people want Luke. Fish had them playing defense for most of the season, kept them competing in games they should have been blown out of because of their competition and schedule, dealt with injuries all season. He didn't deserve to lose his job.
If I'm attracted to Fish, then I must be attracted to the whole team because I've defended all of them, including Jose and Sasha.
And for the record, I used to live in East Harlem. 120th 3rd Ave to be exact right around of the corner from the Kennedy Fried Chicken place.
