Article I read said that they'd wait to see how he played and if he played like his old self they shop him. Before the injury he was having a really good season.
If healthy, he's really help push the tempo... Plus he'd be auditioning for FA... Detroit needs a backup pg desperately and CALDERON IS A BACKUP PG sooooooo

TBH I think the knicks should go after rondo if they can get him at a good price. I hate his offensive game, but he will feed Melo and KP well

If he's healthy, I'd do it just to get the expiring and give us more room to add guys. Plus, Jennings is still young and wanted to play for NY; he also showed some nice scenes before he got hurt so maybe he'd work out. He's definitely a better option than some of the other expirings we've been discussing (aka Lance and JC).

That stat is misleading. Anybody watching Knicks games knows Melo has hit timely, big shots on a consistent basis since coming to NY.

If accurate it's a bad stat yea, but no one can say Melo isn't clutch.

Edit: And I would love to see a Knicks trade that doesn't involve Melo. Package some of the bench players for an established wing or a 3 and D guy.
