I mean people talking about 2ND seed is bugging out.

But let see if the experiment hold truth. That we are a playoff team with decent guard play. Since the front court is pretty much straight

And the East is pretty much a crap shoot

As much of a pessimistic fan I am. I am overall pretty happy with what the Knicks have done. What is there to hate?

The only deal that can potentially turn into a massive L is NOAH. Did we overpay for Lee? Possibly, but everyone is overpaying this off-season and it's Dolan's money...not mine.

Problem is the Knicks have been incapable of finding hidden gems at a lower cost. They always just overpay...which is why we should wonder why Phils getting paid so much just to hand out big checks. Portland has figured it out...why cant the Knicks?

Portland hasn't figured anything out. For all the solid pickups they make, they constantly draft players who have had some injury concerns over and over again. They don't sign superstars...just solid players to build around their top draft pick.

The Knicks management has sucked for a long time, what else is new? I'll tell you what is...The Knicks actually having a top draft pick who outperformed what people expected out of him, CAP SPACE and an aging player who can still score pretty well. That's about as attractive the Knicks have been since Allan Houston, Sprewell and Camby were here in their primes...

Right, they dont overpay for the same production. And they win more games than the Knicks do. Aminu's due to make 8 mill next year and Davis is due 7. Both guys outplayed their contracts last season...that's the key to winning when you dont have superstars.

The Knicks can afford to overpay. Dolan is not broke and this isn't a study on the economics of the business.

The Knicks nor Blazers have won a championship since the 70's so I am not sure what L you are trying to spin here :yeshrug:

There's a salary cap...I could care less about Dolans pockets...it's meaningless. Every team gets the same amount of money to spend.

You clearly DO care.

Let me ask you this, coming into an off-season when was the last time you were this excited for Knicks basketball?

Dolan's money has zero impact on the salary cap. This team is old and expensive...I'm excited to see hopefully Porzingis improve. Other than that, I dont get what trying to recreate the 2012 Bulls will get you.

The 2012 bulls were still relying on Rose to be the leader of the team while knicks just added him to help. Melo will still come into this season being the #1 option while he and rose try to help a possible all-star/superstar in the making with Porzingis.

Not the same at all, but keep cooking.

Melo being the #1 option is the #1 problem. But no one wants to admit that either. So, keep cooking

They just signed Evan Turner to a 4 year $70 million deal and offered washed up Pau a 2 year $40 million deal, too. Stop talking out of our ass, but yeah the Knicks roster is not that impressive either.

Gasol is still a fine player considering the lack of bigs. Turner kind of sucks would agree, but he did have a nice year last year and is younger than Lee. But having Davis and Aminu on the cheap helps them big time.

Breh said KP wasn't that good proved all I need to know :camby:

Over the course of a full season he wasnt as good as the media was saying he was. He had a few good stretches but overall he wasnt on KAT's level or even close. If he cant rebound it will be an issue....
