Rose is done and Galloway will probably end up being better. I love Noah and if he's healthy he's an upgrade from Lopez...but that contract is massive for a guy who gets hurt. Lee is fine, but they overpaid for him too and the replacement level there probably wasnt worth the cost.

And from the returning guys, Porzingis wasnt nearly as good as folks made him out to be last year. And everyone knows my opinion on Carmelo.

So it's obvious you think Phil is doing a bad job? It was already stated porzingis was a three year wait and he did show many flashes. Melo has had blunders but with a revamped lineup I really think he'd be motivated.

What would you have done ? Would you have liked to stay with the same roster as last year ?

The signings were unnecessary for the most part. This team has zero chance of competing for a title. It's better to be bad and get better picks than hover around the playoffs imo. Swapping Lopez for Noah really made no sense other than getting Melo's boys here. And Rose blows at this point...folks thinking he;s good are delusional.

Yeah be bad for multiple years just to stock draft picks, and wait another few years to develop them :camby:. Oh look another conspiracy :shaq2:

Breh Rose is not at MVP level but he's still able to break down a defense. He's the best of we've had in years!

Rose will never be an MVP player again, everyone knows that, but he's still gona be a good player, which is better than Melo played with as a Knick. The last player that Melo played with that you had to pay attention to was AI. Galloway will still never be better than Rose is currently. KrisP isn't an all-star level player, but even if he's able to provide what he did last year, that's a positive. He's gonna be the 2nd/3rd option. And Brandon Jennings, whose game I'm hate, will come off the bench and provide some sort off offensive output. Melo hasn't had that since JR came off the bench.

What max deal ???

Sorry, max money for this season. He's an expiring which is good. I dont hate the moves really, Im just a little taken aback about the sudden expectations now. This roster is a borderline playoff team as it stands, imo.

If you're looking to make a buck I'd say once the over/unders are out...the Knicks under is probably a smart bet.

it isnt even max money for the previous cba(melo makes more money than him)...stop talking out of your ass...and even if it was is it your money?
worst case scenario if none of this pans out...the knicks can easily blow it up
btw courtney lees deal compared to other two guards is a steal....so you can move him if need be
evan turner got 75 million for fukks sake
the only borderline deal i dont like is noahs...but he provides a presence the knicks have been lacking for years
trying to develop kp in an always losing situation is toxic. fukk around and become the sixers or lakers...with all the talent in the world...but not a single soul on that team to teach them how to win
i dont have title contending expectations...
i just expect this roster barring injuries to be atleast a second round team...and if not? blow it up...which is doable.
we didnt trade any picks whatsoever in this situation...so miss me with all this negative jargon
