All that celebrating is why I'm smiling with them being down 0-2. I won't boo them, but wouldn't cheer for them either. JR is pretty much lost in this series and Shumpert was never a big game player. I wished we got more for them, but clearing cap room and tanking was good enough because we got Porzingis.

we have nothing to be happy about either way
they've gone on to do better things regardless of the finals outcome
we havent found no suitable replacements for them and can't even make playoffs
can't really appauld phil for anything

Best case scenario, they waste space on the roster and then leave in the offseason for nothing; having potentially scored us a few extra wins that cut us out of KP. Instead we got a 2019 second rounder and a better pick in the draft which became KP. So I take that move all day every day. Got something back and tanked harder.

Michael Gbinije is a cat I wouldn't mind grabbing a second rounder to take for damn sure. Big guard with enough tools to find a way to contribute in most situations. Lemme throw in though that I'm a bit of a Cuse stan and fully admit that I'm biased.

They had to go, we weren't getting much from them so:yeshrug:

Being honest though, it'd hurt if they won a ship before the team did. Also it been fun ting seeing the narrative of Lebron making them better:mjlol:

I f*cks with JR & Shump heavy and I want them to win a ring, but I think we got all we could from out of them.
