Nobody this yr is worth Max dollars outside of KD...not Horford, Conley, Batum.. etc

I know because of new revenue folks will overpay. I'm a knick fan that want to see some shyt happen. Hell, I wish we were able to get Conley and Batum but it won't happen. Truthfully, we'll get stuck with the Ryan Anderson, Turner's and Sessions of the world. We have no real talent to entice free agents. We don't even have a pick this yr lol

This is what we know since Thibs got hired

Make no mistake, NOTHING involves LaVine playing PG. Jones will get more of a look. Maybe they draft a PG (they've been working PG's out like Van Vleet), but a trade goes against everything he wants defensively.

Year 3: Fix holes on team (Coach, Back Court) and make a playoff push
Year 4: Try and add a Star player To make a deep playoff push
Year 5: Melo (Opts out*) and they try and add another Star player to make a deeper playoff push

All of that and KP would still be on his rookie contract through the last year and doing something like this is only possible due to all of the cap increases.

We only have Lopez and Grant to trade for Teague. If we trade Lopez, we're almost forced to sign a player like Howard lol Ezekli, Horford, Biyombo and Bahmimi (the nikka from the pacers) won't cut.

Next yr will be another wash of a season

I doubt it. He'll waive it to reup early to guarantee a certain salary to end his career. Then again if he's fallen off bad enough I doubt he doesn't take that last year either. Eventually he's going to come off the books though and it will be near a starting max salary.
