Well brehs this is it, the final game of the season. Although it was a rough one there were some shining aspects that make me excited for next season; KP, Grant, dwill, rolo. The hijacks with Fisher being clueless, Lance "gotdamit" Thomas, aa the chuck. We broke expectations and our previous record and even came though when they tried to screw us during the draft:jawalrus:Shoutout to the ref who killed our playoff run:damn:Not too mention the fun in the thread; @storyteller and his detailed post game write ups, @Ironman and his gifs, the breh always wishing death on people:mjlol:, @KnickstapeCity and his endless avatars, being superstitious about the title, playa with tha passport and his endless hate for grant:russ: among many other things. It's been a fun season and thanks for welcoming me in as I was new to the board. Let's go out here and get this W, here's to next season and I'll see y'all in the offseason thread:salute:

It's not even about excuses. It's about the fallacy in believing Melo is a max type of player when he's clearly not. The Knicks need to completely suck next year for anything to move forward long term.

I am on the opposite of that spectrum and assumed Melo and CAA did it to try and strong arm Phil to bring Thibs to NY and thus the triumphant return of the CAA Knicks. I mean after it happened then you heard the rumors about Melo wanting a say and shyt and I assumed it was the same source.

On the flip the knicks have a little drama boiling on behind the scenes. I legit think Phil wants to tank again and wants Melo to leave (talking about keeping Rambis, Signing the tank commander Wroten, refusing to make any trades whatsoever, Always bringing up the NTC when he's asked if he wants Melo, etc, etc) but Melo doesn't want to tank and he doesn't want to leave. It could get nasty here if either side decides to forgo these proxy wars in the media and legit tries to force the other to leave to get what they want.

Real talk...Rambis quotes are too damned comfortable. He's talkin' about adding triangle fits already like he knows too much. I really hope this is an okey doke though, that was my first instinct after the actual Phil interview.
