Kevin Seraphin unhappy in New York, calls year "mistake"

NEW YORK -- Kevin Seraphin's time with the Knicks may have run its course.

"I am not a part of this team," he told About.com Sports after not playing in the team's Sunday loss to Toronto.

Seraphin, who signed a one-year deal with New York last summer, has not played in the team's last two games and has seen action in only 47 this season. He is set to become a free agent in June.

"Honestly, we just will see, man," Seraphin said. "I was expecting a lot of things and it did not happen the way I wanted it to. So I won't do the same mistake. We will see."

In 11 minutes per game, the French big man averaged only 3.9 points on 40.8 percent shooting with the Knicks this season. Seraphin averaged 6.6 points per game as a role player with the Washington Wizards in 2014-15.

His one-year deal with New York was worth $2.8 million.

We still don't even no how good he is
He's on record countless times saying he loves melo, Melo makes game easier for him, he doesnt want melo to leave, but u have haters saying they want melo gone instead. Makes no sense

Even if melo plays out his full contract, how old is porzingis gonna be, 23? Is that too late or something for him to be the focal point of a team

I'm leaning towards no right now, imo he does too much that he's not capable of doing. A decreased role and not too much salary,

low key....he became one of our most important players behind Melo & Kris. Went from nikkas being upset whenever he would shoot, to being really quiet cause he kept hitting shots

after he started getting hurt tho, he came back down. If he can duplicate his positive contributions, I wouldn't mind him getting consistent minutes off the bench.
