. This team will suck for awhile, I would suggest researching the players that will be available in the 2017 draft because the Knicks will miss the playoffs next year as well. Durant ain't coming here and everyone else available won't make this team a contender.

You guys need to remember that it's just basketball. It's a game. Calm down. We still have our problems, we have bills to pay, things to deal with at work, at home, friends and families. Let's just focus on the bigger picture and look at whatever positives is there, for example, Porzingis.

Also, with Tweetgate, I expect Phil to definitely look for someone new. That's one thing we can look forward to this summer.

Real talk the more I think about the more I hope this summer Melo waived that NTC and we pull that Boston/Cleveland/NY deal and take back pics and expirings. Then go hard after some youth with upside like Barnes or Bazemore.

All that would be a lot better than paying Conley 25 mil or paying a lesser SG/PG combo and praying for Westbrook in 2017.

I think Melo's closer to waiving the NTC and I'm expecting more offers to materialize in the offseason. Rooting for a bidding war here. Bazemore would be a great pick up! Barnes, I like, but think he'll get overpaid. If we dump Melo and hard reset; 2 of Bazemore, Fournier and Crabbe would be nice along with a stop gap one year PG since this PG class is pretty weak outside of Conley, Rondo...Jennings cheap would be the only multi-year guy to me.
