Well the run game definitely doesn't suck when he is not there. Mostert was still breaking big runs. But the reason why it may not look as good is because Dwelley is the back up. He's more a WR than a TE. His receptions skills are good, but his blocking is meh.

Mostert was fast enough that he didn't need blocks to develop. I don't think we have that kind of runner on the team. Mitchell is fast like 4.3 or 4.4 fast but I don't see that burst.

You're absolutely right. We don't have a back with nowhere his speed. You don't see Chris Johnson's and Mostert everyday. Both from Flawrida btw Mitchell is fast but not a burst like that. But still can get the job done well.

I'm just saying the Niners won't fall apart without him. Backs like Mason and Wilson Jr eat in the middle and don't have that sweep speed anyway.
