Damn y’all more down on the draft than most I’ve seen. We needed to replenish the defensive line more then the offense imo. The offense still ranked pretty high even with the injuries and whatnot but the defense was getting gashed in the run. We’re not doing shyt without a formidable defensive line

We really need offensive line depth and we needed to at least find a legitimate upgrade at at least Center and a real left guard. Like if every remaining pick after the 3rd round was OL that would have made more sense.

Trent is really old, who plays LT if he's out multiple weeks? We already have a Center that has been badly exposed the past two seasons, what kind of interior pass protection are we gonna give to our QB?
Worse yet, what the fukk do we do if Puni gets hurt?

Im more than fine with the defensive players they drafted, I am not a fan of Martin at LB and coupled with them reaching for him is my biggest issue. The rest of picks I dont have a problem with, they reached one more time for that tiny slot corner but guy can play imo
its like an A- defensive draft to me. I understand the plan, I get the vision and I see execution on defense. They saying, give us big ass dudes on dline to stop the run and set the edge. The NFC cream of the crop runs the ball a lot so you need to stop the run.
Then they get undersized fast guys in secondary and at LB to have speed.
On defense it makes sense
Have no idea what the plan is on offense. They keep ignoring oline even though they need a swing tackle. They reached like crazy on that WR and I dont see anything special on film. The RB pick is fine, but this is a deep RB class and we had UDFA RBs work for us before. Like yeah offense started picking very late, but Kyle went for some luxury picks for whatever reasons. A kick returner from small school who if he stays on roster only does kick returns is too rich. QB#3/4 in the seventh, picked zero TEs in a TE heavy draft and with a looming Kittle extension. Have not taken any tackles whatsoever
