PWInsider.com is reporting that there are a few reasons as to why WWE is not talking about the departure of CM Punk. One of those reasons being that Vince McMahon personally likes Punk and he wants to try and work things out with one of his top selling superstars. Another reason is that they have plenty of money invested in the former champion in marketing ads and merchandising in stores. They want to protect his name until his contract runs out in July.

If both sides cannot come to a new agreement, WWE will potentially not even mention Punk until his contract runs out officially.
