Wait you can't see behind you I thought this shyt was VR immersion
Can playing a motorsport video game improve your performance in a realexcept you can turn around because I've played it.
Get this bullshyt ass argument out here Y'all dudes just trolling.
If VR is basically the same as Kinect, then Kinect is equal to the PS EYE.
Driving a car in Forza is the almost the same as being behind the wheel of an actual car. It's just that one has a TV plopped in front of your face
I don't want to hear this nonsense anymore gtfo

And for the topic on Kinect and VR. To act like there is no relation is Sony clowns being ignorant on Kinect. Did kamikaze revy play Kinect heavy? Probably not, he was too busy trying to be a new age bootleg kode
You claimed my opinion on VR had something to do with Xbox not having it right now. What kind of response is this? When did I say, or even imply that PSVR is the only VR?
I even tagged @Ciggavelli to give his thoughts on his Oculus Rift and Vive experience. What in the world are you talking about Meach?
It seems like you're trying to lump in the arguments you've had with other people in with your responses to me.
I'm simply pointing out the the experience of PSVR is not going to be anything like the experience with Kinect.
I'm not even debating if one is going to be better than the other. I'm just saying that the experiences are VERY different.
Read what I'm actually saying and not what you think I'm saying.
I have kinect for 360. I didn't bother to get it for XB1 because it was corny as hell. Can playing a motorsport video game improve your performance in a real

You can look behind you, but since there's only one tracking camera in front of you, it can't see what you are doing when/if you turn aroundWait you can't see behind you I thought this shyt was VR immersion
And I disagreed with your view on why it's similar. You claimed my opinion on VR had something to do with Xbox not having it right now.
VR will eventually make it to all platforms including Xbox.
Console warz has nothing to do with my opinion.
And I just explained to you why they are similar.
Let's try it this way.
Vive gives you 360 movement. All types of extra body tracking cameras, more accurate 1:1 motion controls that simulate using a hand, etc. Its clearly a lot more immersive than PSVR. Would you call Vive and PSVR "VERY different"?
I have a Vive, and VR is very different from Kinect. with VR you are in the game, not just interacting with itHave you used any VR headset before? I've used that trash Samsung Galaxy Gear Headset plenty of times and the experience is NOTHING like watching a TV. Even with those horrible graphics the level of immersion can't be compared to a television. Its not the same by any stretch. I'm not understanding how you can logically compare the 2 at all. This "PSVR is the same as a regular TV with Kinect" in front of it talk is straight .
@Ciggavelli you've probably used VR more than anyone on here.
What do you think? Is using a TV with Kinect going to be the same experience as PSVR?
I never heard that from Sony. What you're saying makes sense, I just never heard it.You can look behind you, but since there's only one tracking camera in front of you, it can't see what you are doing when/if you turn around
Thats all I was saying.I have a Vive, and VR is very different from Kinect. with VR you are in the game, not just interacting with it
@Fatboi1 clean up on isle 7Looks like VR is only useful for racing. Immersion is cool and all, but seems like something that will be a novelty. Get burned out from it after a few weeks and go back to monitor gaming. Games looking mediocre at the moment as well.
I agree. Im optimistic about Resident Evil 7. Outside of that there isn't anything else I'm interested in.Looks like VR is only useful for racing. This isn't true at all. VR games isn't just useful for racing.Looks like VR is only useful for racing. Immersion is cool and all, but seems like something that will be a novelty. Get burned out from it after a few weeks and go back to monitor gaming. Games looking mediocre at the moment as well.
There's games for the VR that in general you'd just ignore but when playin in VR, it's completely different. Simple games are completely different. You just literally have to try it when it comes out. No amount of text/videos, respected opinions, @Ciggavelli or w/e can show you how good something is in VR.I agree. Im optimistic about Resident Evil 7. Outside of that there isn't anything else I'm interested in.
