Don’t care how much better the graphics look or load times or whatever...at the end of the day it’s all about the games. When they stop making exclusives on ps4 and it’s on ps5 only that’s when I’ll cop

the ps4 emulator on the ps5 is really that good, in fact, the ps5 is way too powerful for the emulation.

all ps4 games will be playable on the ps5 on launch day.

the only ps4 game i will cop is NHL 21 because of EA Sports the rest of my games will be only ps5 exclusives

If you need to do any sort of analysis on the worth of getting a console at launch then it's probably not for you. Console launch is with very few exceptions the worse time to buy a console. Launch lineups are usually pretty bad and full of ports and cross generation games. The install base at launch isn't large enough to justify putting and real must have exclusive AAA games on the console unless it's something like Assassin's Creed or NBA 2K21 that's on almost everything. Also you're paying more for the console and getting less for that money. Months of sparse releases.

It's always better from a value perspective to wait until at least year 2 has started to enter a console generation. Us early adopters buy despite that.

this might be a powerful post but end of day, you want to be the cool kid on the block by having a ps5 on launch day. i don't know about you, but ordering the ps5 as a preorder was pretty easy for me. bestbuy did not take my credit card on file but they ended up taking my paypal instead. everything is going smooth. i get mine on the 12th of november. i only preordered one game that is the miles morales and it is the launch edition.

Maybe if this was pre-pandemic. We are 9 months in and rubbing alcohol is still hard to find. We are probably going to be dealing with PS5 shortages well into mid-2021
