The question was can someone build a PC for $1000 thats as good or better than the consoles. Stop moving the goal posts. You can find a capable $80 motherboard that can run a 3070 and Ryzen 3700x.

I think every one gets that, its more so the fact Sony capped about having games only for ps5, when MSFT said they were gonna do cross gen.
In actuality, its not a big deal, any hardware released today is gonna share software with its immediate predecessor.
But sony made it seem like the games were going to be exclusive for ps5.
