You're talking as if this is a new architecture. its the same x86 they had with more power and clocked faster. all this is showing me is that the pro isn't as nice as they wanted to claim because given better specs the games are ran at higher resolution and still having the same or worse problems they did at 1080p.

as someone that has a ps4 pro, can't lie shyt is underwhelming

not have a uhd drive is one thing, but ti doesn't even allow you to play 4K video files from a usb source.
not to mention it playing some games worse than the og ps4.

Huge upgrade in performance
When base version drops to 30fps, the Pro is usually at 45fps
50% frame-rate increase in worst-case scenario (30fps on base - 45fps on Pro)
If base model is in the 40s, the Pro is usually locked at 60fps

Bruh they just patching shyt in. it's not like these games were made from the ground up with the Pro in mind. If it was as easy as u sayin. What explains all the fukked up PC ports this gen? Most recent being Dishonored 2. I figured with everything being x86 it would be easier too. But this gen has been worse than last gen as far as PC Optimization. shyt. Battlefield 1 ran beautifully on the Pro. They sent a new update out and apparently it fukked up the graphics and performance on the Pro. shyt is a developer issue. Not a console issue.

exactly. Even then better hardware doesn't negate badly optimized games. hell Dishonered 2 on the Pro is barely improved. Even for FFXV we know we getting a 1080P/60fps patch in dec even though it'll ship with a pro mode that has 1800P/30fps which looks way better than the PS4 version.
