Yeah, you would think, but the ps4pro UC4 is rendering at 1440p. It's gotta be downsampled to play on any TV (cuz 1440p is not available on TVs). So for me it's downsampling then upscaling I guess. I dunno.wouldn't downsampling from 1440p be the option for those with a 1080p display?
No downsampling is only applicable to lower res TVs. the internal render of UC4 is 1440P, the pro will autoscale it to 4K since your output resolution is 2160P. downsampling is only applicable to 1080P TVYeah, you would think, but the ps4pro UC4 is rendering at 1440p. This workedPS4 Pro not detecting 4k on my Vizio after update - PlayStation® Forums
From "Thx4Playin" (hope I didn't butcher that!)
Finally got it to work after 4 or so tries of different combinations of settings.
1.System should be off.
2.Leave the input in the 4k 60hz input.
3. Boot in safe mode (Hold power button for 7 seconds as detailed above)
4.Leave the HDCP settings as automatic.
5.System will restart and allow you to select resolution select 2160p Yu420.
6.System should reboot and display in 2160p.

This here worked for me, but I actually had to put it into Safe Mode a second time (after changing the HDCP setting). I then went to Change Resolution and followed step 5.
Dude, I'd buy you a beer anytime (provided you're over 21)!
