"Convenience features" for xbox are met with scoffs of![]()
By Sony fanboys.
But now "convenience features" for ps4 are what's hot in the streets.
Xbox one TV features will be used much more than remote play![]()
No actually I'm running around making the most sense. Which is why you fanboys stay
The PS4 will still work without it, unlike how MS is forcing it's "convenient" camera and mic on you with the Kinect.
Stop being a dumbass. You've been running around this forum like a clown my nikka. If you can't articulate the difference then you should just lurk or something. Each post from you on this topic hardly makes any sense.
Hold up, I missed the actual point of this thread I think. Are you saying its one or the other and not bothAnd that's exactly why devs will shoot for the bare minimum of that mandate. If the vita was a standard feature devs would spend the time/resources to make it something special.
I don't know which would be easier to do, but if its easier for devs to just add a couple voice commands so they don't have to deal with remote play, that's what they will do.
How is streaming your PS4 content to a tiny ass screen beneficial to a grown ass man
Remote play is better because it shows what's on your TV on your handheld. How is full mirroring not better than a app that's just a remote?
Also, with Remote Play, you can turn on/off your console with the PSP/Vita without being on the same network. You can't do that with Glass. And since Glass doesn't show you what's on the screen you can't really turn off the console unless you're in the same room.
It's just a convenient feature, and it's about time Sony started letting people know about it.
It
So basically your still here wishing your ps3/4 was an xbox360/ONE. Maybe one day it'll have basically the same features. That is the PS goal. PS4: We just like an xbox!!!http://youtu.be/5hjx2Sd52U4?t=2m53s
Skip to the 2:53 mark. That's how I know they plan on having something for people's tablets and phones in addition to this news about the Vita.

How is streaming your PS4 content to a tiny ass screen beneficial to a grown ass manYou can't be elsewhere and stream PS4 content over the internet to your Vita, so your talking about a limited distance. I thought you had your own place, big TV. You would have no use for this feature your acting like is special
And you can turn off your PS4 via your Vita?I guess thats better than using an xbox/ps3 controller? Or in the Xbox ONE's case, I can just say Xbox Off and it'll shut off. Why would I need to use smartglass to do that? In fact, you CAN shut off your console via smartglass
When you in controls you can also hit the guide button. Just hold the guide button and the shut off options appear on your phone just like it does on your xbox. You can also do things like search for music/movies/games/etc and start them directly from smartglass. I was outside with friends while our kids was watching a movie. The kids wanted to watch something else, we switched the movie from the phone on the patio. I'd take that over playing a next gen 1080p 60fps game on a 5in screen. Stop this nonsense.

does that change what I said though?
When the dust settled, haters began to speak nonstop about it. Not the otherway around. Its hard to be excited about a gaming console that isnt marketing itself as a gaming console and treats their fans like children. The xbox one reveal trailer had a lot of posters but when the dust settled only a couple had the passion to stand up and say *yes, this is the console for me and how dare you speak critically of it*
And by gaming you mean being able to shrink your gaming experience from a 55inTV to a 5in portable device that originally ran you $300. You would rather have that then the next NetflixThe warped mentality of a MS fanboi - TV features more worthwhile than gaming ones.![]()
And I'm pointing out how what your saying is... well, you saying about 3 different things here before you ended it with "full screen >>>" but let me explain why your wrong. I can do everything you said via my PC and xboxsmartglass. And more. I can play anything off of xbox music and start it on my xbox anywhere in the WORLD. It uses the internet, doesn't have to be connected via wifi. Yes, smartglass is worldwide wifi bruh. I can shut off my xbox from a beach. Why I would need to do that? Don't know, but I can do that. I can stream not only music form my PC (instead of using space on the xbox) I could also of used a remote PC app to control what you talking about if I wanted to be the DJ while I'm not home (basically some dumbshiit you just said) but I can also have my xbox play music I don't have on my xbox or PC. Its called Xbox Music, its basically pandora on steroids. Any album/song/I can search for it and it'll play instantly on my xbox. I got Kinect set up in the bedroom. This is how it works. "Xbox, Music" "Xbox, Bing (insert anything and it'll instantly pop up on screen) Xbox, play"
I have a lot of music on my PS3, if I have something at my house I could use my PSP to be my PS3 screen and basically DJ from where ever I'm at in my crib.
And you can access Remote Play from anywhere you have the internet. I've done it with my PSP and PS3 before. I was in Houston and I could access my PS3 via Remote Play.
All of this isn't even important to me anymore though since I don't use my PS3 or Xbox for streaming now that I have Rokus in every room.. Just pointing out that full screen mirroring >>> the current Glass app.
