When did Sony say you can take your vita outside and play the PS4 game you just streamed? Ive must have missed that one, unless you mean something different when you said outside your home network?

Anyways I much rather the opposite way, where I can play my VITA games on the PS4 when im at home

even with the PSP and Vita now between the PS3 you can play it online, watch movies, music on your PS3. its just that the PS3 to Vita/PSP Remote Play was very limited compared to this. They left it to the developers to decide if they wanted to do it.

What your saying is very cute. Yes, sony did have it so you could stream 1 or 2 games to your PSP. But the feature is mostly for PSone games And you can't even stream movies you get from the PSstore. Bunch of shyt they promise, then they under deliver like always.

Anywayz, SONY confirmed you couldn't use remote play in the capacity that you barely could via the PSP. No remote play while you away from your PS4. I don't have a Vita or a PSP, never had any intentions of using that dumbass feature. But I peeped during the PS4 reveal that you couldn't do that. Suprised so many ps fans missed that.

Only possible over wifi because decoding the video fast enough takes up alot of bandwidth. Also the image is downgraded when it hits the Vita. If thats whats hot on the streets now, sounds like hustling backwards tho

Nowhere in that article does it say one is relegated to the home network, only that it brings an onlive type system to the home for personal use.
And of course some quality is lost, you are down sampling from 1080 to 544 for a smaller screen. Please tell me you aren't this stupid

Remote Play works by downscaling the 1080p framebuffer to the Vita's native 960x544 resolution, using the PS4's in-built hardware h.264 video encoder to compress the image. This is then beamed out over WiFi to the Vita, which decodes the video and sends back controller inputs to the PlayStation 4. It's effectively OnLive cloud streaming technology relocated to the home - the difference being that image quality issues can be resolved through much higher-bandwidth video, while input latency is cut down considerably owing to the localised nature of the network.

That's why it sucks and no one uses it. Sony has clearly stated the remote play for ps4 to vita is INSIDE THE HOME. There's no way you could stream a quality experience over the Internet.

Have not shytted on anything. The truth is the truth, it would be imposible to stream ps4 games over the internet and still have a quality experince. Microsoft says they are gonna stream SOME assets/calculations over the Internet and you Sony fanboys call but you want to sit here and try to convince me that your ps4 can stream ENTIRE GAMES sorry it's just not technicaly possible right now.

And no the Xbox One can't do this but the Wii U does it better, and we see how well that's going for Nintendo

Just being able to play any ps4 game on a portable device is
