What's wrong with going back and playing a dope game you might of missed?
I do that shyt all the time, just finished dark souls great game.

Psn+ is the shyt and you lying if you say other wise.

Nothing. Ps plus just isn't the best way to do so. It's limited and you get what they give you as opposed to what you want to play. Also most games you get for free can be played for free on a different platform.

No they aren't supposed to give away new games for free, but better old games would make it a much better value.

Here we go. VG247 has been told that PlayStation 4 has a 33% raw power advantage over Xbox 720, based on information out of CES.

If true, these numbers mean PlayStation 4 will have a 33% raw, computational power advantage over Xbox 720.


If latest rumours regarding next generation hardware are to be believed, the next PlayStation is to be significantly more powerful that the next Xbox.


Developer sources, speaking after meetings at CES, have told VG247 that the next PlayStation, codenamed Orbis, will have a run-capability of 1.84 teraflops. Conversely, the next Xbox, codenamed Durango, will be able to achieve 1.23 teraflops.


If true, these numbers mean PlayStation 4 will have a 33% raw, computational power advantage over Xbox 720.
While PS4 will have greater grunt that 720, however, the Microsoft machine has significantly more RAM at 8Gb, we’ve been told. Our source said that 3Gb is reserved for the OS, apps and security, leaving 4-5Gb for games.


Orbis will have 4Gb of RAM, said our source, of which 1Gb will be reserved for for OS, security and apps, leaving some 3Gb for games.
Both machines will supposedly have have the ability to read 100Gb Blu-ray discs.


Durango is apparently based on the Radeon HD 8770 GPU.
PlayStation 4 has been previously rumoured to be built on AMD’s A10 APU.
It was recently claimed that the two machines are to be announced in late March. It’s widely assumed that both consoles will launch in November this year.


VG247 is under the impression that several media outlets are in possession of documents related to Durango from CES and are currently working on major leak stories.

More people are playing games on XBL than PSN. More people have purchased XBL gold than ps+ I guess there are a lot of full of shyt/trolling people out there.

Word? Xbl gold been out for what, 7 years, vs. a year in change of PSN+ and good is a forced requirement just to game online whereas PSN+ is not a pre-requisite to play online.

So being forced to pay to play for more members online via status quo equates to a superior service to you. You should be tossed in the bushes. GTFOH.

You are comparing two different things here. By any way you measure it XBL is the superior service for playing games online. The games perform better, problems are addressed quicker and the communty is larger and more diverse. To some people this is worth the money for XBL gold. Some people aren't that serious about online gaming and don't care about hackers, lag, or persistent performance problems. To those gamers the free service makes more sense and it should.

Ps plus as someone pointed out earlier is a content subscription. You pay a yearly fee and you are given content throughout the year. I personaly don't think that content is worth the price of admission so I won't subscribe. XBL on the other hand gives out free content to all it's members, albeit not as much content as ps plus members, but things like discounts, avatars, themes, skins, ect are free for all XBL members.

In my humble opinion ps plus is the worst value of the bunch. Your giving away the advantage of having a superior service or a free service, all for the ability to download some games that you may or may not want.

Sony is a hardware company, their shyt won't be weaker than MS from a power standpoint. So the apparent rumors of the Durango havin more but slower ram than the PS3 with less but much fast ram is apparently true as well.

As part of the reveal, the insider confirmed that both consoles will be "a big jump" on what we have now, and that quite a lot of next-gen espionage has gone on as both console manufacturers try to compete with one another.

Sony caught wind of Microsoft's dual SOC (System On Chip) technology, and countered it by increasing the RAM to 8GB as well as improving the GPU.

However, Microsoft has since reacted to that by adding in a third SOC into the Xbox 720 - resulting in what the developer refers to as "three computers in one".
