I'm on my phone so I'm too lazy to link it but apparently the HBK promo where he was on Larry King mocking hogan didn't sit well with him.

according to hogan it wasn't so much that it was a low blow but more importantly he didn't see how it was business... on top of it being a low blow.

Kliq definitely fukked the game in that regard. kinda hard to take a match seriously when one dude is makin threats and in the other corner you have a guy playin dress up and behaving like a little kid. It's like ok HBK you really got hogan there, that's a funny impression... how's that gonna get people to buy the match again???
He was a heel
On paper hes pissing off a bigger man and fans want tk see hjm get beat the fukk up
Its a time tested tradition...

yea but he's actin like a mary. puttin on makeup and playin dress up? i mean what kinda bytchmade shyt is that.

lol it might have played different he paid some OTHER dude to dress up like hogan and have a laugh at this expense... but for him to stage his own fukkin sketch comedy segment like that. [dame dash] what kinda man dresses up like another man when they about to have a fight?[/dame dash]
even back in the day when hhh would imitate heel rock, rock would always walk through the curtain lookin like :what:"you fukkin jabroni. i didn't know i was havin a match with will ferrel"

Breh the rock has kissed steve carrell and dressed in dresses and tutus all the time for a laugh so thats the worst example u could ever make

Besides like i said the point of a heel is to piss the fans and the face off to thepoint of making them want to aee the face go over

he never did that in wrestling though. in wrestling he portrayed an alpha male who would never lower himself to such a thing.

when hogan asks "is that really business?".... i interpret it as "in what way does this plant the seeds in the audience's head that this guy might be able to beat me. or is he just trying to get under my skin for no reason?"

This shyt legit pissed off The Bellas...u knew cuz them and Eve Marie were screaming like hoodrats by the ring

"SAY IT TO OUR FACES!! :pacspit:"

Especially the "Sucked..up" line where Cameron threw her poms poms like "bytch..how you know I sucked off Johnny Ace? :francis:"

Sad that Nattie and Naomi had to get it too but they had to take them shots..

That ether burned soul..:russ:

Nobody touching AJ on the mic still :wow:

You are fast becoming a mark on here. Summer slam 2005 did 650k buys so yeah he sold tickets. How do you know if the angle was written that way and he just followed the script. That match was gold and Hogan looked like a million bucks.

1. i am a mark. :yeshrug:

2. shawn said that skit was cleared by stephenie and creative, so yea on his side of things he was following suit. but on hogan's side of it i could see why a) it got under his skin... and b) he thought it was personal and not business.

Then blame Hogan. HBK wanted to do a straight up build where he needed to know if he could beat Hogan and no bullshyt but Hogan wanted HBK to go back to how he was in DX. So Hogan getting mad at the promo doesn't make any sense because that's what DX did was mock people.

:ehh: you could be right.

no doubt hogan probly fueled some of that ill will.

and yea, you're right... mockin ppl was always kinda dx's thing. don't forget that nash and syxx were doin the same shyt over in wcw, dressin up and playin pretend as the horsemen.

but if you're hogan watchin that promo with shawn... i don't blame him for taking it personal, mostly because it FELT personal. and most likely because shawn was drawing from a very real place.

but at the same time, i think the moment you start playing dress up and behaving like a delinquent... you expose yourself as someone who isn't an A player. even ric flair, the modern day chickenshyt heel archetype, wouldn't have lowered himself to such foolishness. the old school guys probly see that shyt in the back and think :shaq2:"wow and i'm supposed to sell for this guy? :camby:

hogan was from a different era. i could see where he's comin from.

Your point is what exactly? HBK played his role and Hogan got mad ? Old school guys in the back got mad ? When other performers dressed up they lost respect also? Brock dressing up like a Mexican and mocking Eddie is an example of the old school losing respect for him I guess? Undertaker dressing up like a biker was the moment the world lost all respect for him I guess. Your point is quite possibly the stupidest thing I heard since Goldberg is the best in ring performer , who made that thread?

played his role? did you watch the promo? if hbk is supposed to draw sympathy for the babyface then why is he shootin on hogan for real tryna bring all that backstage stuff to the light? who does that help in the end? is shawn tryna draw heat on himself or is he just out there to humiliate and tarnish terry's good name? who wants to cheer for hulk now after they've heard he's a swindler and a liar who doesn't care about giving the fans their money's worth? lmao shawn actually tries to draw sympathy on himself by pandering to the fans himself at one point! and you don't see why hogan got mad?

what was the desired effect of that promo? that the fans would all latch onto hogan even more and assume shawn was just spewing lies?

shawn was mocking hogan point blank. that wasn't business. that was personal.
