WE HAVE EYES AND WERE THERE
IN REAL TIME.

KOBE WAS AHEAD OF
ALL THOSE GUYS FROM 06-10.

NO ONE GIVES AF ABOUT MVP VOTING.

WHEN SHAQ WAS THE BEST PLAYER FROM
2000-02 HE ONLY WON MVP ONCE.

I hate these guys who try to use media voted awards to compare players. shyt is dumb when we actually watched this generation of players play. The only players who were in the conversation for best player on the league before Bron took over was Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, Garnett and maybe Iverson. Regardless if they won mvps, Nash and Dirk were never in the conversation.

MVP does not always equal best player in the league

2004 Garnett was considered the best player in the league and mvp.

2007 Dirk was nowhere close to being considered the best player in the league yet he still won mvp.

You're right but sometimes the MVP does coincide with being the best player in the world like with Magic, MJ, LeBron, Kareem, Shaq, etc

Iverson? :dead: No one who seriously followed basketball ever thought that.

Kobe was better than Bron in 09 and 10.
Nah not really he was just on better teams then which lead to chips, he wasn't a better player than Bron. Bron was more consistent, efficient, and a better defender by '09. Also a lot of talk of people saying oh at that time people were saying Kobe was better but a lot of peers in 2021 were still saying Bron was the best but was he better than Giannias that year? Hell nah

Iverson? :dead: No one who seriously followed basketball ever thought that.

99-03 Iverson was the man! Lakers fan at the time fuccked with Shaq & Kobe.....rest of us had Iverson as the man and respected Vince etc.

Crossover, spin moves, steals, heart, scoring, sneakers, style, swag etc was all in Iverson favor.

I said maybe Iverson. Iverson was leading the league in scoring and winning mvp. He was definitely in the conversation in the early 00s.
Iverson was leading the league in scoring because he took by far the most shots of anyone in the league. No one who struggles to shoot above 40% from the field is the best in the league. Shaq was clearly the best in 01. It's not even debatable.

The media didn't expect the 76ers to win 50 plus games. Thats why they handed them all the awards that year. DPOY, COY, MVP and 6MOY all went to the 76ers.

Curry. Not even close.

Iverson was one of the most overrated players I've ever seen. So glad the Celtivs never traded for that bum back in the mid 00s.

Prime Paul Pierce>>Prime Iverson

Iverson was :trash:

Fun fact. Iverson has 441 more career FGA than Paul Pierce but has 2,029 less career points.

Iverson was overrated as fukk.
Iverson was overrated as fukk and his MVP is bogus. 2001 MVP should’ve been Shaq.

2001:
Iverson averaged :31ppg/4rpg/5apg/3stls/0.3bpg on 26FGA for 42% FG and 32% from 3PT :gag: :gag:

Shaq was:29ppg/13rpg/4apg/1stl/3bpg on 19FGA for 57% FG

Iverson played like a clown and got rewarded for it. He was Harden before Harden got to the league. An inefficient chuck who should not have won mvp over fukking Shaq. He didn’t get blackballed from the league.

8/27 MVP Iverson in a nutshell

Iverson was a low% shooting chuck. I agree.

id take Ja on my team any day over AI.

He aint even win shyt. He was also an inefficient chuck compared to the players in his era. Iverson dont deserve a statue.

FOH

Now Iverson was arguably the best player in basketball. Yall is just trolls. :dead:
