Enjoying this but I can definitely tell I'm going to be seeing a lot of this "Game Over" screen

100%’d it (minus the glitched pirate quest) game is easily better than Metroid Dread

100% game is absolute fire. Platforming been kicking my ass though im not even gonna lie

so this is super meat boy

but you play as a human

Oh it's definitely better than Dread. Longer too. Boss fights are more challenging without having cheesy gimmicks that Dread, as are the moment to moment combat, even tho that might not be a fair comparison. Better platforming. Even the one borrowed mechanic of Dread used in that one section is done better since it doesn't equal instant death. Dread probably only better in ambiance, but like by a hair.

Beat it on Immortal, shyt was no joke, one of the hardest games I've played in a while. Dope game, one of the best Metroidvanias I've ever played. I'd probably put it just a tier slightly below Hollow Knight and Blasphemous 2.

Blasphemous 2 is lit like that? I played part 1 and it was good but not top 5 status

2 is much better, in my opinion. Way better combat, better bosses etc.

The Switch benefit would just be playing portable though, plus for a 3rd party title it looks to be one of the better ones for Switch.
