I disagree with my whole chest.

This is a solid metroidvania. Above average.

But nothing here is reinventing the wheel.

I don't feel the wheel always needs to be reinvented if the execution is superb. And I say that with my chest for pretty much anything.

I don’t think its innovating on much of anything or a new bar for the genre ,but its a very solid decently budgeted game in a genre that doesn’t really get much that often.

It’s the same as ghost of tsushima, its not really doing a lot of new stuff, but its a very above average game in its genre

All I said was that this isn't doing anything unique and if you play the genre often this isn't going to wow you. Gizmo's the one that's disagreeing with that, me and you are on the same type of time.

But the spirit of what I'm actually saying in that post is that this is a good game that's not doing nothing special but fun

Won't Even lie, I liked this demo better than Blasphemous so Ima hold off on buying Blasphemous 2 or The Last Faith (that looks more promising) cause the combat in this is too clean and the air dash and wall jumping is fire

Don't think I've played a PoP game in at least a decade I remember the PS2 games being pretty fun though

100% game is absolute fire. Platforming been kicking my ass though im not even gonna lie
