How exactly is Zo better? He isn't a better passer, rebounder or scorer. Shot blocking is his only advantage, but I'll still pick Dwight over him as a defender. He covers more ground. At best it's a toss up. I'm talking about 2011 Dwight by the way, not the current version.

They are both on the same level in my book.

look at the differences in competition. Zo played against tougher comp, what centers today does Dwight have to worry about?

Zo's career high in ppg and apg for a season are higher than Dwights, literally the only edge Dwight has is in rebounding. Zo actually had a jumper out to 17 feet and could make hookshots :manny: I'd take Zo anyday of the week over Howard, like I said, he played against real centers and more than held his own while the only barometer we really have for Dwight is Yao, and he got served up something awful.

I see what you did there:obama:.

What I said and have always maintained that Dwight is one of the best defensive players of all time when healthy. He's not Dream,Duncan,KG, or Drob but he's amazing. He's a classic defensive anchor that covers up the mistakes of his teammates with how he protects the rim.

Offensively, of course he's not your ideal number one option(and theres tons of C's better)and hes flawed, but as a number one option he's done as much if not more then Pretty much all time center aside from Dream and Duncan without an elite Guard by his side.

Multiple 50 win seasons, ECF, Finals Appearance(losing to Bean is no shame) etc

Healthy Dwight is a 22/14/3 on 60% guy that can Lead you to 50 Wins with mediocre talent and almost guarantees you an elite defensive team. I'd just love to see him play with an elite Guard

He is playing with an elite guard :manny:

Zo was a better offensive player.

He had the better post game, and I can't say that about Zo over any of the other centers mentioned in this thread, and developed the jumper out to ~15 feet.

Dwight was the better rebounder, that's about it.

Peoples Problem With Dwight Is That He Never Elevated His Game To The Next Level

Dwight Could Average 18 & 12 In His Sleep

But At His Size With The Competition He Faces, And The Years Of Experience Under His Belt, People Wanna See That Defining Season

On Some 28 & 15 shyt

He's Never Done It

I Remember When Shaq Was Like "He's Never Even Averaged More Then 20 Points In A Season" I Was Like.... Damn :whoo:

This Is What You Call Dominating Your Position? Nah

Zo had way more variety in his offensive game. He had the ability to face up on his defender & either blow past him or shoot the jumper.

Dwight's hurt, and while Kobe's been amazing hes past his prime(and its showing in the the last month and a half).Plus the Lakers just arent that good. Lol at using this season

He's pretty much done everything you can do as a number one option without winning the Title and this is with average, mediocre, and in some cases downright terrible teammates.

Dwight couldn't mess with Ewing or Robinson if they played against each other. David would have worked him in the post and both of them would have killed him with their face up games. Dwight may could contain them for a while but they would defintely get theirs if they played.

So ONE Season Of 22 PPG Makes Shaqs Point Null And Void?

The Man Is Supposed To Be A Beast And Averages 18 PPG For His Career

That's Nice If You're Roy Hibbert

But If You Wanna Be Talked About Among The Elite Big Men Of The Game We're Gonna Need A Couple Seasons Of 24-28 PPG Under Ya Belt

When Ewing Had That Season He Averaged 17ppg People Said "He's Done"
