We agree on certain things, but I don't like how he used a statistic that had nothing to do with what he was trying to prove. Those were two separate points on the same topic.
Point 1 - Dominicans aren't racist just cause there happens to be a violent occurrence against a Haitian. There are cases of violence but it's typically not simply because the person is Haitian.
Point 2 - Here's real racism...and then he goes on to give the stats on how Blacks are disproportionately victims of violent crimes. Not by white ppl, just in general. Because of the racist American system you previously mentioned.
I gotta tell ya...ya'll agree more than you think.
We need a 42 page thread on Haiti doing something for its' ppl.
You keep writing that he did that to show how racists the system was, but I watched the video three times to make sure I seen what I saw, and he used the same statistic whites use to say blacks are violent, which makes no sense to me as to why he would use that statistic. You are making it to seem like he used it to show a racists system, but in his own words, he wasn't doing that. He clearly stated out of 100,000 blacks 27 are murdered. Then he goes to say whites are 77% of the population, and blacks make up 50% of homicides, implying whites are killing blacks at a large rate, and he used certain statistics to prove his point. The problem is those statistics had nothing to do with white on black crime.
I know that is what he meant because Arianne brought it to my attention first, and she is debating against me, so why would she feel the need to say the same thing I say.
