Obama feel a certain way bout what chris rock and morgan freeman said....
NAACP went out of their way to cast a "symbolic" vote supporting same sex marriage just to keep this nikka in the good graces of black folk and he still shyts on them; sends the dumb dummy who started the whole mess instead. 
I keep telling blacks to stop waiting for some magical negro messiah type to save us. I had hopes that his presidency would at least mobilize blacks, give the youth something to aspire to. looks like that aint the case. fukk him

I'm not sure why he would need to go. It's not like he has a political plan mapped out that is going to specifically help black people so his attendance would just be a photo op and that's more disingenuous than not showing up at all, imo.

At this point, the negative optics of not showing up outweighs any hell he'll catch from white middle class voters. He tied his presidency to that group, and they will lead him down the same hole they took the economy. It still doesn't change the fact that Obama has done more for black folk than you know who, atleast your kids have somebody with true bona fides to look up to. Also, show me a black person in a leadership position in any corporate setting gallivanting with the few minorities around and i'll show you his updated resume on linked in.

I'm sure the President has attended at least one of their annual events during his time in office. If he hasn't then I can see them feeling some kind of way, other than that they are just being sensitive.
