yet blacks were doing better under bush sr, clinton, and surprisingly, bush jr.

so fukk the country for a second, how is the black community doing under obama?
Poor people and the working class are suffering as a whole and it's not because he is in office, it's Congress' refusal to agree with Obama on ANYTHING. The laws have always been geared toward the wealthy and any time shyt jumps off, the working class suffers. This isn't new so why are you making it an Obama thing?

Are you suggesting that black people were doing better under the Presidency of the man who directly preceded the Presidency responsible for the introduction of crack cocaine to urban communities as well as mass incarceration of colored people over ridiculous drug laws? And CONTINUED that platform?

And better than the years under the man who admitted (like 3 weeks ago) that his views on the drug laws and the prison industry were wrong and did more harm than help...specifically to minorities (BLACK PEOPLE).

And better than the years under the man who was was at the helm during one of the worst economic downturns in this country's history, which DEFINITELY affected black people and families??? The downturn that OBAMA had to help clean up???

The people of the community are ALWAYS going to be a bigger influence and can insight greater change than any political figure, black or otherwise. Look cities, like Baltimore, with a majority black political presence. shyt isn't any better for blacks here either. Politics are a fukking joke, especially if you don't have the financial influence.

hands tied? why arent his hands tied when he's working for everyother demographic? how about he just doesnt want to, that would be closer to the truth.

also, yes. blacks put obama in office. like i keep reiterating (that you cant refute) when any other group gets one of their own in the white house, he actively works to increase the quality of life of his constituents. true or false? the quality of life for the average black american has decreased under obama, true or false? but i guess obamas hands are tied, while he goes on tv shows and records podcast with unfunny cacs.

What other group beyond straight white men has had"one of their own" in the white house? Besides which his hands have been tied and he's been fighting hard for everything he has done with push back from Congress every step of the way. The reason he has had more success helping these other groups is that these other groups had specific requests/demands and were organized to fight with him to get things done.

You state that he could have pushed for things to remove barriers based in racism keeping some of us down. What specific thing could he have done? What law could he have created or removed? What did you want put in place to help the black community as a whole?

well thanks, obama. you had two terms to atleast TRY to dismantle some of the barriers used to disenfranchise blacks. but you chose to uplift gays, mexicans, jews and wealthy cacs instead.
Like what? Reparations?

This nikka is now 100% in his feelings :mjlol:

all blacks should be "in their feelings" when it comes to obama. we're paying hard for his presidency and its going to get worse once he's out.

Forget there was a recession and a meaningless war that had nothing to do with obama brehs :mjlol:

obama started 3 wars and kept the other 2 meaningless wars going. but this is where you tell me its politics and his hands were tied.

either way, the quality of life for black americans has decreased under our "black" president

why are some of you fakkits getting your panties in a fukking bunch? God, we gotta make a fukking story about everything these days. Every little thing is analyzed and discussed. Obama went on the Marc Maron podcast, which is a very popular comedy podcast that is listened to by both black, and white people. I think that's cool as fukk as a podcast is such an awesome way to get a glimpse into the personality of the president.

:whoa: Slow down breh, heaven forbid we as tax paying citizens ask what he is doing for our community. We should never ask a president for anything like every other group/class has. They don't know yet but he's got a whole country to run.

I listened, and he talked about improving early education of black children as the most viable way to fade the "shadow" of oppression. Does anyone know what his administration is doing in regards to that though?
