Because she told Ghost that he better hope that there were no cameras there and he told her that SHE better hope so. After that, she said she would snitch on him if he didn't give her money and he agreed to pay up, therefore, confessing to at least being there.

I honestly don't remember that part, which doesn't matter much anyway other than she was there as well and that dude is dead. Either way she still put herself at the scene pointing them exactly where the car was.

Ghost didn't leave his family, he left Tasha. I guess as a child he could feel hurt by that, but not to this degree. Tariq's hate is beyond irrational. The part that really gets me is that he always wants the truth, but never tells the truth himself. He lies about everything until he finds out that it would hurt him as well.

Breh this show is marketed for ratchets/hoodrats and to some extent fags. Its clear it is. Only those two groups will harbor negative feelings towards Ghost for "abandoning" Tasha. Real men will understand why Ghost left especially when the series progresses. Power is just a more grimy/darker version of those Shonda Rhimes shows. No male would make these type of excuses UNLESS they were raised by single mothers(I hate using this phase btw) who turned their sons against their father.

The theme of the show is very Shonda-ish.
But only for a slightly different demo that includes non-bedwench/buck viewers.

The fact that a character like Kesha was apart of the supporting cast for so long shows this show is for that demo. The more you analyze the more you find out this show has a very feminine undertone. The fact that a character like Kesha was apart of the supporting cast for so long shows this show is for hat demo. The more you analyze the more you find out this show has a very feminine undertone. This is embarrassing coming from the person behind the show.

But she already said that Tariq is her favorite character so it is what it is. This is what I've been talking about. There's been a concentrated effort by Courtney and the writers to make Ghost look like the enemy who's made everybody's lives miserable. Meanwhile, Tariq is just the mixed up kid that can do no wrong, even though 90% of the awful things that have happened to these characters in the past three years have involved him in some way.

And then there's her bringing up things that are irrelevant, like Kanan saving Tariq from Jukebox even though he put him in that situation to begin with. This was something that was outright stated by Tasha on the show: "You don't get points for cleaning up a mess that you made." Does she even watch her own show?

Investing in Tariq as a character is probably the worst mistake this show ever made.
