Rotimi confirmed in his Breakfast Club interview that they had to cram a lot into this season because they only had 10 episodes to tell everyone's story. You would think STARZ was smart enough to expand the show to at least 13 episode, especially with how good the show is doing.
Seen someone post the idea that Tommy pops is gonna turn on him to get his sentence reduced.
It'd kinda make sense, he saw Ghost..tried to blackmail him, saw that Ghost is willing to kill and wouldn't be manipulated by him..decided to prey on a more vulnerable, emotional, easily manipulated Tommy.

It all comes back to bad writing. Too many unnecessary storylines have taken place. I do not see how an extra 3 episodes would change any of that. Too much filler and bad pacing.
3 hours is a lot of time...
So is 38.
True, but with 3 extra, you can fit a lot more nuance and detail assuming the same plots. They could have filled out several storylines.
