Overall thought this was trash though, felt too kid friendly and rushed at the end.. I'll end up checking for the sequel though just for my nikka Tommy, Green/White Ranger was always my favorite character

I saw this yesterday and it was cool movie that took me back to my childhood....
Billy was EASILY the best Power Ranger.....
Rita was cool but it seem like they merge her character with Scorpina
As far as the cameo I have a question for everybody that saw this in the theater

When Tommy and Kym pop all of the adults in the theater started screaming while late 90s and 00s babies look so confused......Did that happen in your theater?
What movie were you watching? Within the first 30 seconds there was a mention of ol' dude jacking off a bull.
All the cursing? References to killing/murder? Blood? All the dark/mature themes?

I went in with low expectations but I was pleasantly surprised....Not as cheesey and much funnier than the original. The ending felt rushed though
So in the original was zordon a former power ranger because I don't remember that

One dude in the theater screamed his name out like a lil bytch lol. There was a decent amount of applause so late 80 early 90s were deep in there but some confusion was definitely going on for others.
I enjoyed this way too much It was a very very dope flick because of the rangers. Their chemistry was off the wall and it made some meh dialogue fly over me because I was invested in them as a team. Darce Montgomery played my boy Jason to a tee and the dynamic between he and Zordon was very cool and hopefully something they build on.
New Kim and new Trini were bad as hell but also fun to watch and roll with. Like there wasn't a moment I didn't believe anything on the screen.
Billy was the MVP and actually had me questioning whether Jason is still my favorite ranger. He was the heart and soul of the movie and without him the whole thing would've fell to pieces.
Elizabeth banks damn near stole the show as Rita. I was surprised at how dark they let this get while still maintaining the fun power ranger vibe. They managed to give depth and character to characters who never had it on tv
The sequel will be and should be even better and I can't wait to see it. When they finally morphed and got in their zords and those familiar chords started it was like I was 9 again. Very very on point flick and
to everyone involved. I'll take 5 more of these please

Lol overall though, I really liked it; Elizabeth Banks killed it as Rita, Billy held down the team, and the last 30 minutes was worth the buildup imo

Ok movie was not as trash as I thought it was going to be. It being a power rangers movie I thought it could've been more kid friendly despite its pg-13 rating. I also hated all the close up shots. I liked it but I hope next time we get more Ranger time.
