I was on the Power subreddit and it made me wonder: Does it make sense for Cane to be broke, to the point where Effie became a moron and gave up her hopes and dreams so he wouldn't die? Wouldn't he be able to go to a stash spot or just have Effie go there for him?

No it doesnt make sense for him to be broke. We have never seen Cane "lose" money wise. Like with Riq, he lost all his shyt n the weston stuff. Effie, tricking off on nikkas. So he should have a nice lil grip of cash.

I don't believe it was Carter whacking Tate's brother that caused Nico to flip. It was the realization that Carter helped cover up their female partner's death that was the final straw. Nico realized if Carter would do her dirty, he'd do the same to him.

That’s another problem with the lack of development with Tariq

Dude got manhandled by his father multiple times, went to prison, and got his ass beat by Cane and Carter and could barely handle Brayden and not once did the mf think that he may need to learn some fighting skills?

Don't forget Tariq was supposed to work 3 jobs in order to afford tuition

It feels like the finale was something they found out about in the middle of the season and had to course correct for but they didn’t want to risk killing anyone important off just in case they get greenlit for another series.

They killed the two villains and Monet, like ok that should have just been something that happened last season.

I have a feeling Monet was supposed to die the first time she got shot and they were like hold up we need some emotional punch for the finale, let’s save that.
