what are the democrats doing????????????????????????????????????????????

:mjlol:

Raskin a damn fool. They want Biden to replace Kamala but he will never do it. He would immediately lose black voters, every last single one of them. And Black voters are gonna be a determining factor in a couple of swing states. Can't risk that.

This would only be successful in blue states that Trump has no chance of winning anyways. Red Supreme Courts will not allow this to happen, and their Secretaries of States and AG's will fight it as well. I don't see this being successful in swing states either.

This whole 14th Amendment route seems pretty counterproductive on the whole and will further perpetuate the conspiracy that the deep state is conspiring to keep Trump from winning the Presidency.

A Constitutional ammendment isn't a partisan gimmick that can be applied or ignored depending on which party is in power.

J6 has been confirmed as a legal insurrection in the courts. Team Trump doesn't have a leg to stand on when these cases are successful and they don't have the votes in congress to override the eventual court decision. Trump also does not have the money to fight each challenge.

His campaign been DOA, it's just a matter of time before it becomes official.

If the likes of Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, and PA used it, no way Trump even makes it to 270

Pretty irrational and irresponsible questioning to ask sitting congressional members of the same party that controls the WH to openly call for the ouster of the sitting VP.

Harris being on the ticket is not going to lose the election for Biden but removing her and even hinting at such could very well lose him what is going to be a close election because turnout is going to be down from 2020 levels.

Another example of how the media is complicit in pushing GOP narratives in an attempt to be "fair and balanced".

No he wouldn't. There are Black voters who aren't impressed with her either. It would be a bad look for sure. Sure, some Black people will not vote and they'll be a lot of complaining for sure. But most would still vote for Biden if the next VP was competent looking enough.

But let Biden replace Kamala with Michelle Obama and see if he doesn't sweep the elections.

No, it's pretty irresponsible not to say, "she's the perfect person for the job of VP and President". And if you can't say that about the VP of your own party, then don't blame the media for picking up on it and asking.

How soon everyone forgets Clyburn stepping in to save Biden's campaign and getting it across the finish line. The VP concession drove up voter turnout and overall voter engagement. I don't care how unimpressive Harris is, you don't alter that ticket as the incumbent.

And can we please stop bringing up Michelle Obama, not only does she not have any political aspirations - adding her to the ticket is a gift to a fractured GOP who is where they are because of the Obama presidency.

The perfect person for the job is who the president, the leader of the party, selects, period.

No we didn't forget. He's part of the reason why we're even having this conversation in the 1st place. He should have picked another Black woman for the job.

No. Michelle Obama is still far more popular than Kamala Harris and people trust her to run the White House more than they do Kamala Harris. Regardless of Obama's aspirations.

Again. If that was the case, we wouldn't be having this conversation. And as you said before, it wasn't Biden who picked her. It was Clyburn. Who isn't President.

The moment Biden removes a Kamala, #bothsides is gonna go crazy cause that will be the aha! moment they been waiting for. They are going to go into Overdrive with help from their MAGA overlords to use that to dissuade black people from voting. And there are a LOT of black voters that it would work on.

A LOT. :francis:

I wanted Susan Rice, had legit foreign policy experience and has experience working in the executive branch. But she wasn't black enough nor did she have the name recognition to capture the black and woman vote that was necessary. So if not Rice or Harris - what other Black woman in Congress or the national political stage could have been selected? Val Demmings didn't and still doesn't have the profile or name recognition.

She's one of the most popular women on the planet but how do you square that if she has openly herself on more than one occassion expressed zero interest in a political career?
