Cristie at the end of the day is a grifter he wants position and power just like all the other no shot candidates
He is definitely gonna nuke desantis because he knows that attacking trump is just going to coalesce that side against him whereas scalping desantis will bleed from his dwindling support and add to his own never trump faction
All of this is about who will be gracious and eventually bow out of the primary since polling has shown that none of these people have a shot outside of iowa and NH
What are you gonna do when Desantis or Tim Scott has to face their terrible polling everywhere else
Its about jockeying for cabinet and power positions in the trump administration

No one is going to be able to say a coalition of the anti trump republicans could ever confidently get behind one person let alone have enough republican support to supplant trump. You would need to move fast after the new hampshire primary for even a small chance. None of this is worth thinking about mind you since it won't happen
Bernie lost to Biden because everyone else running was an establishment dem who are controlled by big donors who could be pressured to drop out. You cannot pressure unserious people like cristie or vivek. This strategy is a non starter since the big donors can't even control someone like desantis
