Hell nah, we need that 2024 update cause some of you nikkas outta pocket. We got guys throwing wild names over Henry...

Time to accept reality that Derrick Henry is, either on the cusp of, or already, one if the 10 greatest running backs of all time. And me and @Trav been saying this shyt!

I have no issue with you projecting him being top 10

In my opinion I need to him to get at least 15,000 yards

Can he do that?

He just past 10,000 now and he's 30

The NFL is quick to run a RB out the league..

He can't have ANY slips up

The league and their obsession with trying to bush RBs are waiting like vultures to send him packing

He has to keep producing

Why does Henry need 15,000 when only 4 guys have 15,000? One of those 15k rushers (Gore) CLEARLY is an inferior back to Henry...

The Top 10 rushers list also, in addition to Gore, has Bettis, Dorsett, and Martin. These guys weren't better than Henry...

I need to understand why the bar for Henry is 15k, almost nobody does that...

You have a point there

Thats just me personally but you make a good point.

Even though Gore and Martin have alot of rushing yards they weren't monster legendary RBs to me

Sometimes the yards and RB don't match up

For someone like Henry I want the yards AND THE DOMINANCE to match

I get it. I would argue that so far they are matching...

In 2021 he broke his foot when he was on pace to become the first 2x, b2b 2000 yard rusher. The dominance is there. And he's got an iconic move most guys don't have that underscores his dominance, his stiff arm has become iconic, the way he throws nikkas around with his stiff arm...

I'd love for him to break 15k, realistically he probably won't. But he's clearly the best running back of his era. White dudes be trying to throw McCaffrey, who has had two elite years in EIGHT, white boys be trying throw McCaffrey in there. It's clearly Henry...

Still the top 2 to me :obama:

People are crazy if they don't see the similarities between LT and Barry at their peak, the good and bad.
LT just had a little more utility/versatility (catching/passing/elite blocker) and that stiff arm.

Derrick Henry definitely top 5 to me (that I've seen).

I think Henry has the dominance. As mentioned earlier, he was on pace at one time to have back-to-back 2,000 yard seasons -- he actually has an outside shot at the number this season -- and there's a 4-5 year stretch of his career where a strong argument exists that he's the best/most effective/dominant runner in the league. He should score 100 rushing TDs this year as well and is on pace to become the ninth player ever to lead the league in rushing three or more times as well as one of the few to do it at age 30 or older.

For me, I'll just say I have rarely seen one running back show the ability to defeat teams seemingly by himself as often as Henry has. The playoff run where he sonned Baltimore and New England, his exploits vs. the Jags...

I can understand if he's not top 10 in the eyes of some, as he does have limits as a receiver but I'd be hard pressed to keep him out of my top 10 when it's said and done. At least based on the people who have been active since I became aware of football.
