There is really no excuse for only 13% of a population to vote. Especially when that population makes up the vast amount of Bernie supporters.

Folks need to stop blaming blacks and start blaming Bernie's own supporters for his loss.

I did blame Bernie supporters and in SC the young people who were supposed to ride for him just happen to be black. :what:

If supporting the establishment which is not benefiting the lower or middle class and has slowing been eroding the country for 30+ years is not insanity I don't know what is breh...If no one points this out once again nothing will change...you really think we will improve at all under Hillary?

What different results are they expecting? Hillary is getting a lot of black support because she is saying she wants to continue Obamas legacy and political ideologies. So actually they are expecting nothing different.

Now if you ask me personally, I'd prefer Bernie. But if he loses (which looks likely) I'll be a-okay with a Hillary presidency. Many of y'all think Hillary = end of the world, which is fine, but I don't see the necessity for the vitriol (all seemingly towards blacks) for those that disagree with your viewpoint (not saying you are one of them).

Reasonable assessment breh...I personally dont think Hillary will be the worst thing ever for this country but we are really blowing a real opportunity for change that we may not get again for some time...Discussing without personally attacking each other or blatant trolling :blessed:
We need more of that on HL

your assessment is correct that he will have a hard time passing anything (just like Obama) but that is why you cant stop with voting for Bernie and think all is well...we made that mistake the last 8 years with Obama and didn't vote locally and that caused him to be ineffective...it is imperative that we vote locally if he did get the nomination

Word. I'm just a chill dude so I'm not really one for arguments. I just agree to disagree and keeping it moving, unless it's somebody that hates my existence like a klan member in which case I'll just not engage at all as it'd be a waste of time.

Also, I think the country is moving left and left each day and Bernie has pushed Hillary to the left so even in defeat he is causing major change. After this next presidents term, I really think we have a higher chance of a president like Bernie than one like Hillary. That's also part of the reason why Bernie catching an L isn't that big a deal to me, it's just a slight delay of the inevitable.

Wake up and stop following the establishment...very few positive things happened in the last 30 or so years that have benefited black people that either voted Democrat or stayed at home and let the Republican candidate win. This election was a real golden opportunity for not only African Americans but the working class as a whole to make a statement and start change in this country. In the course of this election we have seen Hillary fall apart again with the Email scandal...a 14 minute youtube compilation of "Hilldawg" contradicting herself and blatant proof that she is funded by Wall Street (working for the current establishment). Bernie showed that his campaign and policies where going to challenge the status quo and try to help the African Americans and the working class making them his priority instead of rich cacs. Hillary called Black children "Super Predators". Her husband signed off on NAFTA and the 3 strikes rule, and Obama (who Hillary will follow) just signed away even more jobs here in America with the TPP. It is really depressing to see that our people are still mentally shackled and will not fight for any sort of positive change. :snoop:

I think its a simple, straightforward answer. The Clinton's have the name recognition and the legacy of the economic conditions during the 90's. Apparently the issue with mass incarceration, her comments about Super Predators, and other accusations about their stance against blacks are completely ignored. Maybe because these impacts were not felt by blacks during that era.

Its like the "LBJ" impact. Like the fact he helped past the Civil Rights Act immediately makes up for any other actions he said or did against black interest.
