Once we lose that RBG supreme court seat, it's a wrap for the next couple of decades. :whoo:

Only reason Im voting tbh :ehh:

With that being said, a Bernie nomination will all but ensure a Republican sweep in the senate, whitehouse, and house of representatives as well. Another 4 years of an impeached president who knows he can do whatever the fukk he wants with no checks at all won't end well :snoop:

Only silver lining is these bytchass anti black "people of color", lgbt gang and feminists who have all been throwing hate towards straight black men this past 4 years are about to get a HELL of a wakeup call :blessed:

Latinos will be deported, asians will have their h1b1s revoked, and it's about to be the handmaid's tales for these broads :picard:

Black men gonna suffer too, but we been suffering since the beginning of forever, nikkas was still getting shot and killed under the first black pres, born into adversity so we'll be aite :wow:

A Bernie Nomination wont mean the end of Democratic rule. If anything, it will increase the chances of them getting elected. The "socialist" label Bernie has help him greatly.

Poll: Democrats underperforming with black voters

More than a fifth of the registered Black Voters they polled rather support a third party candidate or Trump. :mjlit:

They polled a small number(800 or so people), but things ain't looking sweet for the Dems :mjpls:
It's sad cause Republicans don't care for poor folks if anything, Ralph Nader and the green party made the most since for black people with green party being against corporate pockets and wall.street in government etc. Unfortunately the reality is that won't change. We get caught up with emotional issues like who is gay and gay rights when wall street and corporation don't care about all of that it's who can I align my self to break bread

Better start creating our own political party. The Dems never gave a damn about our Black asses any more or less than the Republicans ever did :yeshrug:

Damn Dems pander way more to LGBTQIA, the gender-confused, and illegal Immigrants (why are these nikkas even allowed to obtain DLs without naturalization?) nowadays.

That’s what happens when you allow them relegate you to “People of Color” status rather than properly addressing you as Black or African American. Hell, y’all see how they’ve been so quick to dance around the reparations talking points and try to borderline shame us for even bringing up reparations as if they don’t be clamoring for the same shyt for Joos and fakkits :mjlol:

black love, unity, and music
I just named it. I have to pay more due to the trade Wars, less disposable income, and I travel a lot. Yes I am personally affected by it. :what:

You telling blacl people not to vote? Tell that to the racist CACs and keep the same energy. If not, you are committing a federal offense by telling people not to vote/ voter intimidation and yeah, you can go to jail for that alone.
He’s just quoting his idiot leader Nasheed.

trump is fukking up America and its position in the world. He’s also turning the treasury into his personal piggy bank and literally ushering in fascism and people act as if it’s no big deal. Smh

The level of intellect amongst the US populace is shockingly low

Bloomberg, Sanders and Biden are considered top tier candidates.

That’s a stop & Frisk candidate and two cacs who voted for an erroneous 94 crime bill.

:hhh: I wouldn’t support this shyt either.

Wow. :dwillhuh:"These openly anti-black policies don't affect me personally yet, so fukk other black people that are affected by them"...:snoop:
It's how he always talks politics, bullshyt and deflection.

Many of the policies folks won't see until the economy tanks. Folks forgot how many of bush jr policies and his lack of awareness didn't have a full negative affect until the economy tanked in 2007 and 2008. Then folks had buyers remorse for electing bush or sitting on their asses in 2004.

A lot of folks who like :yeshrug:now will be :damn: help me when that economy tanks and Trump telling them... fukk you I ain't helping you with shyt.
Yep. People act like the law has to already have affected you for you to know it ain't shyt.

Guess what, if they pass a law saying that banks don't have to report the info that shows whether they were discriminating or not, then they WILL discriminate and you won't even be able to prove it.

If the government removes the consent decrees that force the police to stop making racist stops and using force discriminatory, then they WILL start the racist stops and beatings again.

If the government goes to court to fight to stop affirmative action, then fewer black students will get into colleges and that will impact the entire community.

All that shyt and the 30 other anti-black measures this administration has passed have a real impact, and just because it hasn't hit you or those you love at this particular time don't mean it can't in the future.

That's a complex issue that I'd rather not discuss on thecoli to only be called a CAC or Trump Supporter

No, it's politicians throwing money at pet negros to ultimately do nothing for black people--I don't trust HBCU leadership at large

Go look up the status of black people graduating from HBCUs nowadays and the state of HBCUs in general--there's a reason alumni donations are so low

If anything that would fukk up HBCUs struggling to serve actual black people who need it (I don't wanna get into the immigrant thing because we'll get back to the ADOS/Black immigrant thing)

I don't know how HBCUs would survive if they gave free admission--other than jack up the prices on everything else

And you're looking at a HBCU grad; VSU Class of 2010

So you think that Black folk should only go to PWIs? Or that they shouldn't go to college at all? My cousin went to med school at an HBCU and had a great experience. In fact, it seems like most folk who attends HBCU's disagree with you.

Survey finds big differences between black HBCU graduates, those who attended other institutions

About 55 percent of black HBCU graduates said they “strongly agreed” that their college or university “prepared them well for life outside of college,” compared to less than 30 percent of non-HBCU black graduates. More than half of HBCU graduates reported “thriving in purpose well-being,” compared to 43 percent of black graduates from non-HBCUs.

While 29 percent of black graduates who did not attend an HBCU said they were “thriving in financial well-being,” 51 percent of black HBCU graduates reported doing so. Black graduates of HBCUs were more than twice as likely as those who graduated from predominantly white institutions to recall feeling supported by a professor.

According to an earlier report based on the Gallup-Purdue study, if graduates recalled “supportive relationships with professors and mentors,” they were twice as likely to say their education was worth the price.

Nearly 50 percent of all college graduates who accumulated $25,000 or more in student debt said they strongly agreed that college was worth it if they had those kinds of relationships, the survey found. For recent graduates with high debt who could not recall having a supportive relationship with a professor or staff member, only 25 percent strongly agreed.

About half of black HBCU graduates said their college or university was “the perfect school” for them, compared to 34 percent of non-HBCU black alumni. Nearly half said they couldn’t “imagine a world” without the HBCU they attended. Only 25 percent of black graduates of predominantly white institutions agreed.

HBCU's have their struggles, mostly financial, but they are still ESSENTIAL for the Black community. Most Black professionals went to an HBCU. If Bernie Sanders comes in and makes college tuition free at all the HBCU's, that'll be a big help. Not to mention forgiving student loans, which will allow those young professionals and teachers and others to start building wealth.

HBCUs have their struggles right now, but two of the central ones are financial issues and attracting the best students. If Bernie has the federal government paying tuition for HBCUs, that should really help their financial situation and allow them to increase enrollment. He's also promising to make room and board and fees and books and everything else free as well for students coming from families earning under $25,000, so that will help more kids and the schools both. And since he isn't doing the same for PWI private schools, Black students will have more incentive to chose HBCUs over PWIs, which will increase the quality of the student body pool.

What exactly do you have against that? Where would you prefer Black students did their schooling?

Is bernie giving tangibles significantly to ONLY black folks where we can close the racial wealth gap???:coffee: No??? then...:camby: I dont trust any word on what he said about giving all these moneies to the HBCU... I aint forget how he was acting his ass off on the view talking about he aint know what tangibles mean and then called it UNFEASIBLE....

So my vote is unfeasible...:stopitslime:
In the world that the 99% of the America outside of Black Twitter lives in, things like universal health care and free tuition at HBCUs and a federal jobs guarantee ARE tangibles. Those are tangible benefits, that's the way the rest of the world uses the word tangible. You seriously think that Bernie was faking not understanding your niche use of the word "tangibles" when literally no one else outside of a few thousand people on twitter use it the way you do?

When candidates promise a shytload of helpful shyt, you mock them and say you won't vote for them. When candidates promise reparations (which two have done already this campaign) you ignore them and when people call you out you say, "ah, they wouldn't have won anyway."

And forgiving student loans and making tuition and HBCUs free WOULD reduce the wealth gap. Black students have higher student loan burdens than other students and closing those out would allow them to start building wealth instead of spending their whole careers paying off the interest.

Combine that with his wealth tax (which will affect FAR more White folk to a FAR greater degree than Black folk) and his policies will reduce the wealth gap by half.

If you vote for the Democratic nominee, theres a chance nothing will change.

If you dont vote for the Democratic nominee, vote for the Republican, or dont vote at all, it is guaranteed that things will get worse.

Its not the most heartwarming thing to think about, but it is the truth. Play defense if you cant play offense.

Many in my Black American family in NC have said they will vote pretty much any Dem except Sanders.

My dad and mom is in MS. It’s a red state anyways, but my mom is liable not to vote period, as she doesn’t follow politics and usually goes along with what my dad does. My dad has said he’d only go Warren from the Dem field, and that’s only due to trying to help with my bro’s student loans. He won’t vote Sanders, and likely the other Dem candidates would have him stay home.

I’m going Steyer in the primaries. If he doesn’t get picked, then I will vote locally in the elections and not worry about the president.
