Breh this shyt could have been way worse. You did not handle this properly. You should have stepped out the car when they asked you to. I ain’t never see someone win that battle against police EVER. and the fact you had all your kids wasn’t the time to play roadside lawyer. You let your emotions get the best of you. And this should just be a life lesson breh.

the mistake you made was expecting police to be compassionate or considerate. you begging for their kindness was like blood in the water. at some point you're better off accepting the situation, keeping your kids calm to reduce the trauma, and avoiding getting killed. this ain't new for 2020.

it's easy to say what we would have done in hindsight, but it is important to discuss it. might help another breh avoid a similar situation or something even more tragic.

And his wife got out that day. He could have just picked her up with the kids and keep it moving. Traumatizing you’re kids like that is not wavy.

Expired Tags on both vehicles while driving with minors, along with a suspended DL. She got pulled over and you go to the traffic stop when you're pretty much told to leave or you will be detained (which is legal since it's interfering with the police investigation and failure to follow orders means dis-orderly/resisting). Should have just met her at the station and picked her up vs putting you and in the kids in that situation. Like we all know in some states (the south) it's a mandatory arrest for driving while suspended.

I think you escalated the situation being there, especially when probable cause was established for her to be locked up. From what I have seen of the video the cops were lawfully(shocking).
I don't know what happened after the video, but i mean they wasn't cursing, yelling etc. Y'all brought that shyt on yourselves.

No lawyer is going to even take this. Just thank god you're alive and ya family is good.
