You need to call a creative lawyer looking to make a name for themselves. Sue the police dept, the city, county and state. And then sue that pig as a private citizen as well, for emotional trauma to you and your kids etc.
on another note Brother you put those babies in danger. I have one rule in dealing with pigs: if you’re not ready to put it all on the line if things go bad, the best thing to do is keep your mouth shut and do what you need to to stay alive and let your lawyer handle things.
I get what yall are saying and in a perfect world you are right.
Any time I've been pulled over by the cops, I did what I was told and didn't have an issue.
But I also haven't been in a situation where I have several children in the car and the police are about to arrest me.
I completely understand why he didn't want to get out of the car. He was thinking about his children and he didnt want to leave them there in a situation by themselves where he didn't know what would happen to his babies.
As far as the expired tag, in my state its a fine not jail time. It's like a $1000 ticket and if you get your new tag in a certain time frame, they will drop the amount of the cost.
But of course the laws are different in different places.
This is really just a terrible situation and I don't know how I would have reacted.
But one thing I will say they are right on OP is never go across state lines with an expired tag. Heck don't venture out too far from home with an expired tag.
It's happened to me and the farthest I would go was 20 to 30 miles out. No farther than that.
