This is what I'm saying. 4 years in they're putting this out like it changes anything. They should have put whatever money they applied to developing this into making more games. Especially new IPs.

This thing is cannon fodder for fanboy wars online. It doesn't change the actual situation in the least. The last known numbers suggest the PS4 has doubled the Xbox One's sales. You put out a expensive box catered to a smaller subset of the market and it doesn't do anything to address that.

Half the people here hyping this up if it's announced at $500-$600 suddenly they probably aren't gonna wanna buy it. People are saying anything over $400 is suicide but this product doesn't sound like a mass market we want everyone to buy it anyway product in the first place. Personally I'm preparing for $550-$600.

Honestly they should have waited till the end of year 5 and put this out dropping the Jaguar processor and call it the Xbox 2 or whatever and have it be their next generation system.

I was referring to an oled

I actually copped one which was around that price

And incopped a ks8500 for around 1100

Got rid of the oled because of horrid input lag , best picture money can buy but I mostly play games and that shyt just wasn't fast enough

With Microsoft's 'Play Anywhere' initiative, can't y'all just build a gaming PC with Windows 10 and play all of MSFT's first party titles all the while having Steam for multiplats?

If the differences aren't that great then some may not feel a second choice console is worth it. That's kinda where I am. Vast majority of the cats I run with own ps4s and are cool with it. Most don't own 4K tvs either.

If the differences are great between pro and Scorpio multiplats I'll possibly reconsider

There is a difference between real 4k and checkerboard 4k I don't know how many times I have to explain to people on here.

At this point with this mid gen console we looking at diminishing returns i'm keeping everything OG until they break then I'll invest in a pro or scorpio. As long as they can play the same games i'm in no rush I got a laptop with gtx 1070 to tie me over until they release PS5 and xbox two.

Y'all are delusional if you think this thing is selling $399. $499 minimum calling it.
