when you first finish your project the plasti dip is gonna have a bad texture, thats normal. After a while its gonna get really smooth. U just gotta be patient

which dumbass told you to wait a hour after the first coat?i always wait 10 minutes after each coat, 15 minutes after the last coat and it always comes out good

Good way to trash some nice cars. Wouldn't touch with ten foot pole. I might be alone on this one but that's fine. This is just another fad, like stance.

there's no visible difference between plasti dipped, powder coated or black rims. the only difference is in price, and what will cost u hundreds with the last 2 u can achieve with 10 bucks worth of plasti dip
but yea. you certainly would steer clear of a 100k+ car because the rims are black. right?

brehs if your gonna paint a small part of your car bc some of it accidentally peeled off, you gotta do 5+ coats again. Part of my emblems peeled off when i took it to the car wash and i did 1 coat to cover the part that peeled off and i still haven't removed the rest of the excess plasti dip. Just gonna do 5+ layers tmrw and re paint the entire thing

I'm sure if you seach dipyourcar.com's forum you'll find stuff you can buy from homedepot since they dont tell you the name of the thinner they used. (reg thinner might be able to work)

I plasti dipped my wheels a few weeks ago. Definitely pleased with how it turned out and how its held up.
I did this to my wheels twice....about to do it again in a week
