DID YOU TAKE THE TIRES OFF THE RIM?I plasti dipped my wheels a few weeks ago. Definitely pleased with how it turned out and how its held up.
You don't even have to do all that. Just masking tape and news paper and it will be fine, just do the front and back of the wheel.

fukk that. besides the pain in the ass of doing that, you risk scratching the Plasti-Dip off when putting the tire back on.

just make sure you spray from both sides of the rim regardless of if you take it off the car, it needs to fully wrap around the spokes and bond to itself, its not just like paint.

best way to do it, take a deck of cards and wedge them under the beading of the rim and then tape them down so you can spray at it from all angles and it wont get on your rubber

most of the guys with high end cars get professional matte black paint or high quality wraps, not low quailty rattle can off the shelf paint.
