Excellent analogy. To take it a step further it's like having a crew and that crew was tough enough to take out the bullies but you bytched out against those bullies.
with this "he just wanted to win" talk. What was stopping him from winning in OKC? Having to win 4 games? Having to play 4 quarters?
What teammate, pre Big 3, did Pierce have that was as good as Russ? How many times did Pierce blow a 3-1 lead, because he and his Russ caliber teammate went out like bytches, and then he jumped to the squad he lost to. Wanting to play with talent is one thing. Wanting to win is one thing. Choking and then running to the squad you choked against, that won a chip and 73 games without you is another and people need to stop being so intellectually dishonest about this.
