Personally I don't got a problem with what KD did. Career wise it was a brilliant move and I think he made the best possible choice. As a competitor, I don't see how you wouldn't think it's a weak move.

If we're to compare it to what Bron did with the Heat, the difference is that Bron formed that superteam once he joined them. Miami wasn't really doing much before he came. Golden State was practically a superteam before Durant came along, so it looks more like Durant is hopping on the bandwagon. This is amplified by the way Durant lost to the same team the year prior.

I think if Durant ended up beating Golden State last year the move wouldn't look as bad.

Like I've said before your version is just a Stan version. Not necessarily saying you're a Stan but this he didn't join a loaded team narrative is bullshyt. Cats really rewriting history. I've no problem with Durant doing what he felt was best for his career, even though I'd prefer if several teams had a chance of winning the Championship, and not just two juggernauts. But at the end of the day, it's his career and he can do what he wants with it
