I wouldnt take Pierce over Pippen. Granted im biased because Pippen was my favorite player when i first started watching the NBA. But Pippen offers you so much more than Pierce.
Pierce was a sick shooter and very clutch. But comparing him to Pippen is like comparing Ray Allen to Dwayne Wade. Allen is the deadlier shooter and can score from all over the court but Wade gave you so much more in terms of playmaking, defense and it's not like his scoring is far behind either.
Remeber Pippen is the reason they came up with the term "Point-forward" because before him they never saw a forward that could run an offense

And we like to talk about players who have styles of play that are "easy on the eyes". Well, the top 4 small forwards I've seen in my lifetime that fit that criteria are Pippen, Bird, Durant, and Worthy
man pippen in his prime was just a PHENOMENAL player at all aspects of the game.

Pippen isn't the reason why they came up with "Point forward", It was Milwaukee's Paul Pressey who they called that.
Many people used to say this When they were still playing and Jordan himself said Pippen was more athletic. You'd have to dig for it but it was an interview about the 92 Dream team when MJ said it.
This doesn't mean MJ wasnt a freak himself but he did gave the nod saying Pippen was the more athletic of the two

Nah breh, scroll through. Brehs made it blasphemy for Pippen to be able to hold his own vs. the all time great small forwards. Pippen wasnt that good

I think people get it confused as if I am saying Jordan wasn't athletic as a mother...of course he was but I bet you if you tested them both in combine events Pippen would most like win more of the events, except maybe the vertical jump- MJ prolly got him there
