He averged 22 on 4 3's at 34% a game in 94

Harden is also shooting 34% this year, except hes taking 14 a game

You do the math hating ass nikka
Thats not how it works :mjtf:
Quoted, in bold, and enlarged for emphasis.

Some cats just need to leave #s and analysis alone, and just stick to "he gets buckets, b", and leave it at that. Otherwise, they only end up embarrassing themselves trying to discuss the game beyond a surface level.

Your saying this like Grant Hill didn't have all time great talent before he got hurt.

That’s exactly what I was conveying :dahell:

now as a rule I hate these generational battles because it’s hard to say how these old nikkas games would look if they played in today’s game. But when they open their mouth with outlandish shyt we only have their game from years ago to go on. Pippen was solid in all aspects offensively but he was never elite. And he would struggle defensively against the KDs and Leonard’s.

As typical, gets caught lying so he resorts to his fantasy world again.

Dumbass seriously tried to argue that
Pippen could shoot threes like Harden and had to lie about Pippen's numbers to do it.

You hate to see it.
When did i lie:francis:
The NBA moved the line in 94 i posted 93 stats for a reason u non hooping fakkits :hhh:
He shot 32 percent without working on a 3 point shot day and night and getting the greenest light of all time.

Pippen played full court defense
Pippen rebounded
Pippen played in the post and off ball

But if we told him to play like a fakkit with the refs enabling and ignore that list of responsibilities he'd have 40.

Harden has allocated all energy to stats

Imagine klove in this area, you fakkits would be saying he's better than duncan:wow:

Duncan never had....I can see it now astaghfirullah

The two autistics are overloading
@Gil Scott-Heroin and @Rhakim y'all should share the medications that worked for yall in the past together but in dms we don't want hear your rainman shyt:umad:

Pippen's first two seasons were at the same pace as the last two seasons, and his 3rd-6th seasons were at the same pace as 2018. His big MVP-candidate season, 1994, was played at a 95.1 pace...which was never hit again until 2016.

.
then also account for the individual systems teams play in those years

‘94 bulls pace of 92

‘19 Rockets pace of 104

having double digit more possessions per game ain’t just ain’t some meaningless quirk of history

now obviously everyone to man has said there’s no way Pippen is dropping 40...but give a 22 point scorer a dozen more possessions and can easily get up to the 27ppg range without even having to for harden’s usage rate being something like 50% more than pip’s and the change in the rules of the game

Yo... we out here adjusting nyggas stats for inflation like we talkin box office numbers :dead:

Pippen averaged 22 in 94 (would've been around 13ppg in the 60s) so dat means dat nygga would average 29 in today's NBA:ohlawd:

Wilt averaged 50 or some shyt in the 60s so by adding improved shoes and headbands, multiplied by the softness of today's players, divided by the number of IG thots in his DMs (much more formidable than what he was facing in the 60s), + contract incentives, - the impact of big men, adjusted for my personal biases...

Ehh... i think dat nygga would average about 65 today :ehh:

There’s not a perfect way of doing it, cause even with all the data there’s not a way to put the difference in how rules are applied and style of play into an equation...but I like this guys method of adjusting for pace and average offensive rating as a way to normalize counting stats over the years

These old nikkas kill me

Pip wouldn’t be doing shyt. If he was getting the defensive attention Harden got he probably wouldn’t average 20 a game. But in his crazy ass mind he can average 40. Ok bruh :mjlol:

Pippen didn’t have a ball to the floor offensive game either like these dudes.

When we say this era, what time frame are people talking about?
I guess you could say when traditional positions/roles faded into the background and spacing became a centralized part of the game, which would be around 2014/15.

It's hard to measure it cause we've seen a drastic shift over these last 3-4 years than we'd typically see over the same span; from 2005 to 2012, teams on average only increased their 3-pt attempts by two per game over the course of 6-7 seasons, whereas from 2014 to 2020, teams on average have increased their 3-pt attempts by 12 per game.

think after the “freedom of movement” rule change we’re in the beginnings of a “new era” as of last season...don’t think it’s some coincidence Giannis, Luka, and Harden are pretty much having the 3 best statistical years of all time...all randomly in the same season

Kevin Martin would have averaged 40 in this league with those attempts

:mjlit:

@Rhakim how's that for data u autistic fakkit :wow:

It doesn't work like that breh :gucci:

Very few people in NBA history have Harden's handle, isolation and shot creation ability... and Pippen isn't one of them.

And I don't even like Harden's game to be defending him like that :picard:
